That radiator protector adjustable levers and gear indicator is not more than 5k.

And 3 lacs is too much you can buy a new one in 40k more, remember it is used. Even if it is immaculate condition should not cross 2.3

And many of us end up buying the ones provided by the showroom at much higher prices.

I've short-listed a few of must have accessories down here.

1. Frame Sliders (a.k.a : Crash Guards)

Various kinds of sliders, called frame sliders, frame protectors, fairing protectors, or crash bobbins.
They are attached to motorcycles with the intention of minimizing damage to the bike's fairings, frame, engine,
and other parts, in the event of a crash, or an accidental tip over.
They are made of plastics, or sometimes aluminium.
Frame sliders are usually located and installed on the engine bolts on both sides of the fairings.

Have found one for TNT 300 here.

2. Radiator Grill

Radiators are constructed of a pair of header tanks, linked by a core with many narrow passageways, giving a high surface area relative to volume.
They sit right behind the front wheel and are highly prone to damage by derbies of the road.
Its very important to protect them from getting damaged, especially on the Indian roads.

Have found one for TNT 300 here.

Apart from these, many prefer paint protection as well for the bike to look new for the years to come.

This was about the bike. The rider safety is more important, accessories such as helmet, jackets, guards, gloves protect the rider.
Will be covering theses in the future days to come.

For now, enjoy and ride safe.
Thank you for the useful links Bro. How much are the showroom guys charging for the frame sliders ??

1. Because the cost of spares are off the roof: 17k for a rear shock absorber, 3.5k for a handlebar, 2.2k for the gear pedal pop-in (the small knob with rubber and not the entire pedal set), mudguard will cost 4k.

2. Because the service interval is short: 4k kms or 4 months which ever come early. Shelling out 18k for a 300 CC bike every year might sound unreasonable for few. Rs 5.6k for every service and the labour charges are increasing as well. Rs 6k for every service.

3. Lack of availability of spare parts: Horns and starter relay switches are dead within months of use. And they are also not readily available. Spares take a long time to reach as well.

My advice to you would be to enjoy your bike to the fullest and take care of your 300 like you would take care of something thats precious and very dear to you. Expect no harm if you do so.

.

Its a tad high to ask for. though 2015 model, when was the bike bought, How much old is the bike. At max, you can pay 2.7, check the tires for wear and any dents/scratches.

Agree to the point that the accessories added should not be counted as what had been added is just levers and radiator guard which new one would cost around 7k atleast and not 5k.
Coming to your point of not more than 2.3 is unbelievable. Just because someone sold for 2.3 does not mean that the valuation of the bike for this bike is that cheap. I'm sure you would not sell yours for that price.
Around 2.7 - 2.9 is good. Here in Bangalore the on road price is around 3.7

personal opinion but Firstly anodized levers and guards are dirt cheap buy it from showroom and even those 7K you mentioned are less,

Secondly used bike/car market the movement you take out the bike from showroom the depreciation is 30% at minimum. then comes the part of how you have used it
tyre wear overall care of bike taken by owner.

Now regarding valuation how many people are out there in the market ready to spend 2.7 to 2.9 lac as u mentioned on a used bike ???

The set of buyers here are limited be it new or old, that is not a commuter you post Advertisement and get 100 of calls..........

Again my personal opinion, if you are looking for a bike, you have wait for the right bike with right price.

you pay around 3 lacs for a used bike and when you sell it as 2nd owner get peanuts for the same.
