Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
same concept as Bumper to Bumper in Cars. All items glass, plastics, rubber and fiber are covered for full cost. In normal cases they are usually at 50% ... considering the cost of spares, its always good to take Zero Dep for new vehicles.Originally posted by drdanishkhannew.540 View Post

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
You can chose whichever you want. Showroom dealer tries to push bcz they get their commission.Originally posted by drdanishkhannew.540 View Postalways had a horrid experience with insurance companies.. can we change the insurance company or is it stuck with what the showroom dealer says it is..

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
For my Elite i20, Zero Dep. is 23k (Price 8.10 OTR).
I know for Ninja 650 it is 10 k,
so def. for TNT300 it should be around 7 k.
Bye the way guys, just got an email from ICICI for long term insurance plan (03 years), might not be Zero Dep.

Your dealer can't force you to choose the Insurance. Know your rights brother.Originally posted by drdanishkhannew.540 View PostMy dealer refused to accept any insurance except national and I have had horrible experiences with them whenever I had a crash so much so I just stopped making claims.. I hate them..

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Well he just refused.. ye told me he won't proces the claim.. I have to pay for the whole damage first after estimate and then I get reimbursed after 3 months or so.. those asstards even refused to pay for damages when I got into a crash in which both sides of my fairing were damaged. they said that insurance will pay for the side that's damaged worse and rest isn't covered.. I was left speechless and fuming..Originally posted by roy_arnab22 View PostYour dealer can't force you to choose the Insurance. Know your rights brother.

Need A Daily Commuter Cum Tourer Bike. - Confused on Benelli TNT 300
Hello Chaps,
I need your help on deciding on bike which would be good as daily commuter and tourer.
Daily commuting - around 30 km.
Touring - 1000 -1500 kms both ways.
Honestly i have zeroed on Benelli TNT 300, Took a test drive too, the bike is great , over all very well built.
The only hitch is the foot rest position which is quite at the back then usual, however this OK for city use , i have my concerns for touring,
i think this backward foot rest position will be bit uncomfortable for long tours.
Please suggest on Benelli TNT 300 and what other bike i may consider. My Budget is around Rs.3.5 Lakhs .
Male - 34 yrs
Height - 5.8"
Weight - 90 kgs
Thank you.
Best Regards
Kaushal

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
I had a tough time with National insurance too ... had to run around their office a couple of times to get it sorted out. I changed to ICICI Lombard after that. Isn't there and option to move to another insurance incase you do not like the present one ... ? #justaskingOriginally posted by drdanishkhannew.540 View PostWell he just refused.. ye told me he won't proces the claim.. You can change insurance during renewal every year. Not in between. Well all insurance companies are good until you take their policies, true colors come only during claims.Originally posted by brokenbinil View PostI had a tough time with National insurance too ... had to run around their office a couple of times to get it sorted out. Wait for R3. Also to mention, i rude duke 390 and the footrest is way far back but this is not an issue during touring as it helps me sit straight and also ride sitting on the pillion seatOriginally posted by kaushalpandit81 View PostHello Chaps,

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Wow....... big Grin...... and people were concerned about the top speed. All the reviews quoted top speed at 155 km/hr, though the showroom guy said the speed have been declared low so that Indian authorities pass the bike without tampering with the ECU mapping. He was correct as he quoted top speed to be 170 km/hr.Originally posted by fusioncoast View Post
What a joy...
Also for fellow riders, I have started tinkering with the suspension and have stiffened the rebound, with the preload in medium settings and that has worked wonders for me in attacking corners with greater stability.
