this not at all acceptable from any brand. Its really unfair using one's beloved bike for a test ride at any conditions. Its really a bad habit and wrong If Benelli support this. Its better behave like Kawi by not giving test ride rather cheating their own customers who paid in lacs and trust them. how can the owners leave their bike confidently for service and what if something goes wrong in the test ride?Last edited by Harisankar; 07-14-2015, 03:46 PM.

Whoa.. that's insane.Originally posted by fusioncoast View PostFaced the Same issue so Dropped the Ninja. Also they were hardly bothered to sell the Ninjas, They were concentrating on the KTM's.

I had a pretty unpleasant experience at KTM/Kawasaki showroom. I went to inquire about the Duke390. The sales guys have absolutely no knowledge. Heck, he didn't even know which year make was the bike in his showroom. All they know is to write quotes. Yes, they love writing quotes and EMI options to you. He still keeps calling me to check when I would buy the bike and I keep asking him about the test ride which was promised

I had a rather pleasant experience at DSK Hyosung. The showroom manager was very knowledgeable and made some efforts to understand my needs and requirements.

He showed me the copy and quoted 7K for the same in Mumbai Vs 17K for the original.Originally posted by brokenbinil View PostJ.. Someone said Mumbai Benelli showroom guys are selling an Indian Make. How is it ? Anyone used them ?

Waiting for the delivery is bad, and worse if it is delayed. The days pass so slowly.

This is what I was talking about. These players educate and train their representatives, to have knowledge about their bikes + their competitors, understand the requirements and suggest a product. Infact, when I went to Benelli for TNT300, the representative also gave me an option to take test ride for 600i.

I could only see two pieces of frame sliders in the box. Nothing apart from that. The only difference is that 7K one is the true copy of the original.Originally posted by brokenbinil View Postwhat all are they giving for 7K ... ? or even 17K for that matter.its all about CC...

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
I'm not sure if the 7K crash protector is the original copy. The one which I saw when I went for booking was made in Carbon Fiber & the design was different. The one which is made by DSK is nothing but a long MS bar with a screwed top end. It's heavy & looks little odd. When I asked why so long, the answer was to save the handle bar ends as well during a crash.
On 600i though they have similar Crash guard with small length which looks neat.
The pothole incident also damaged the tire as well. The rear tire now has developed a bulge on the wall.
The cost of the Tire quoted by DSK is 20K.Last edited by abhijitkn; 07-14-2015, 05:32 PM.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Anyway you can check for warranty of tire ? My car had similar issues and we contacted Bridgestone. They replaced the tire from their company wholesale office. Does Pirelli have an office in India ? Or may be you can ask DSK to connect you with their Pirelli contact.Originally posted by abhijitkn View PostThe pothole incident also damaged the tire as well. A bulge would mean that the tire wall structure has been damaged. Ideally it should not happen. Isn't it ?

The showroom guys in Bangalore mentioned 26K for the set. Need to get actual figures now. Considering the Pirelli model was just 10K premium over the MRFs, 20K for one seems a little steep.Originally posted by Shreeni0403 View Post20k for one tyre ?

Can You Describe the Pot Hole Incident how big was the pothole?
is it 20k for a Tyre or is it along with the alloy wheel.
