Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Yes, but the main reason is the tire. Waiting, since it's out of stock.
The bearing had to be replaced since last time at Bangalore they had to use SKF bearing which was not stock.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Since I was claiming the warranty on tire, DSK wanted to have a look on the inside of the tire. As they removed the tire I asked them to keep the motorcycle at the workshop till the issue gets sorted out (bearings & tire replacement). I did not want them to remove the alloy again & again. Also I didn't have any plans to ride out for few weeks so no issue.Originally posted by fusioncoast View PostYour bike is still under repair? How long is it been

Haha... sounds sweet doesn't she? Have fun!!!Originally posted by Ballistic View PostGot my first servicing done today, and after that the engine roared to life at 7000 rpm..... damn i could not believe my ears.
I'm done with my running-in period and pushed the bike north of 8K rpms. All hell broke loose!! I got scared myself and before I could realize the bike was doing 120. I still had some open road left and pushed more and just touched 150 before I ran outta road. That was fun. I thought to myself.... Let's do this again. I reached 154 and ran outta road again. I tried my best to have a quick glance at the tachometer and it was close to redline but definitely not touching it. I'm not sure... maybe 9.5K or 10K?? She can scream past 160 I'm sure. The top speed claims of 155 is bullshit story. Also pointed out earlier by fusioncoast
She sounded a little angry after the couple of 150 whack runs but in a good way.
What a bike! I can't get enough of it

and have been at that speed for some considerable distance
, What I felt was the 6th gear is quite a tall gear , reason being I could do 150 km/hr (speedo indicated) in 5th gear before hitting the redline , but as soon as I shift up to 6th the rpm would fall higher than you would find in other gears, Hence you reach 150 km/hr very easily but going higher than that will take some distance n effort, And wind resistance also plays a big factor , I had to be in a crouching position to maintain speeds over 155 km/hr , but i could have face more wind resistance as I was on an elevated expressway

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
I can't believe it this is happening. I was following up with benelli for my balance payments since I booked the bike on 7th. Now every time the sales person use to forget to call me back so I use to call and when I called he said your bike will be delivered as per schedule and I will get back to you with the dates to make the final payment but never contacted me. This is probably the first time in the history of Automotive sales a customer had to follow up for buying
. since I was promised that i would get the delivery of my bike on the 28th
i reminded the sales person few days back also about my balance payment and asked him how he will deliver the bike if the cheque won't get cleared by 28th. He said not to worry he will manage. After getting frustrated I visited the showroom and paid rest of the money yesterday because he assured me that he will manage some how to deliver it on the 28th. Today I got a call from him saying the cheque will get cleared on 1st and I will get my bike on first only.
Now I can't wait any more and told Marc that I need the bike on 28th as promised as I have already applied for a leave from office. Hope I get it on the 28th itself This is so frustrating.Last edited by fusioncoast; 07-27-2015, 05:31 PM.As I gaze upon your beauty, I think to myself, "never have I seen an angel fly so low".

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Same here...But not with DSK..My experience with them has been top-notch so far...Its the HDFC guys I am pi**ed of with, giving all false information. I was told my payment has been released and I was anticipating Registration of my 600i tomorrow...Now I get a call saying they havent released the payment for whatsoever f******g reason.Originally posted by fusioncoast View PostI can't believe it this is happening. Though the vehicle has reached the showroom and PDI completed, I am just waiting to lay my hands on it and stroll off..If this situation is going to continue...I am worried that I might even end up cancelling my booking for good. No grudge against the DSk, They are helping to get the money as much as possible..
Usually we get n number of calls for PL and CC, now I am having to chase them to give loans....what a comedy sir.,..R15S - Current

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
I had similar experience. I booked the mine on 11th April & got delivered on 21st April. 21st was my marriage anniversary as well as Akshaytritiya so did not want to miss the day.
But I was in same situation, no follow up after paying the booking amount. Then I thought may be I'm getting loan form outside so no follow up from dealer.
Since I the showroom was en route to office I could visit the showroom whenever I had doubt or to check the status. In my case Bank disbursed the loan amount via NEFT/RTGS, same option you can try.
If possible ask Bank to stop processing of the cheque & transfer funds via NEFT/RTGS.

Another thing I discovered is that I didn't feel the brutal wind blast at these speeds. For a street naked with a tiny wind protection I was mighty impressed. I did crouch down though.

Actually my post was for fusioncoast's experience.Originally posted by TheArcher84 View PostThanks Abhi...I will check with them tomorrow first thing in the morning.
You can ask HDFC guy that you are cancelling the loan application & going with IDBI/BOI/BOB bank. But make sure you have other options in hand just in case.
It might do the trick & they will disburse the loan in case of no other issues.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
The HDFC guys are worthless, they had a similar fiasco with me. There was some issue with with CIBIL record and they just stopped the loan processing and did not even inform me. I had to chase them for a week only to realise that they will not process my case. Hence, Devang tried with Yes Bank which processed the loan in seven working days. HDFC wasted 15-20 days for not processing the loan and non-intimation of the same to me.
The Service expenses amounted to Rs. 3400 for which the majority component was Engine oil which costed Rs. 2475 and the rest were coolant, brake oil and service tax. No labour charges were levied. The bike is behaving like a maniac at 7000 rpm. God knows what will happen post that. I have still to hit 1000 kms. I have covered 600 kms and hit first service. The service guy said I can take it post 5000 rpm after the first service. But I am restricting to rip post 7000 rpm till I hit 1600 kms. With the new engine oil the engine is revving more freely and is sounding deadly. I love the stock exhaust note at 7000 rpm and will not go for a stock exhaust though I enquired for one.
