After the service

++ Brakes are crisp and precise.
++ After changing the bulb to Osram NBU, focus extended more than 20 mts.
++ Suspension settings changed to more soft as I am just 57 KG ;-). Now much better.
++ FE is around 28 KMPL and using normal shell petrol.
++ Post sales are still a concern. I didn't like the way they wash and servicing the bikes. They are short staffed and there is no premium feel in their service.
++ Total cost of first service was around 3400 + 200 (bulb change)

Overall, the build quality and performance of bike is top notch and I am very much satisfied.

How much the osram costs? what capacity/model bulb you used?

Use Soft Suspension only for city rides. The harder setting is for high speed as you get more traction..

Hi experimentalhead... I'm curious to know if you think that a gear indicator is necessary?

It's a 'nice to have' feature but not necessary. I think it's a feature for beginners.

My only concern till now with the bike is the after sales. Service charges are very ambiguous. I have personally seen 5 different service charges for five different TNT 300s. There is no clarity what so ever on this and they have still not displayed service charges in the SVC even after the concern regarding that was raised by me.

Questions :

1. What have the service charges been so far ? Each Service.
2. What were the consumables charges ? Is there any clarity on what they charge for ?
3. Was oil change enforced every 4K kms ? I find this unnecessary and waste of money as the same oil is given a 8000km change interval in n300.
4. What were other things replaced as per the service interval ? Eg. Airfilter, Spark Plugs, etc.
5. I have heard a few people were forced to get their injectors cleaned at extra cost. Did you ?

Sorry for so many questions, but honestly I'm beginning to think that SVC/DSK is taking people for a ride in the name of Service.

I spoke to the guy in the showroom, he said the engine oil will be replaced only if they find it necessary. If the viscosity/thickness of the oil is good enough they just do top up. Not sure how true is that.

Also showroom guys have no idea about any tnt400. They say that only TRK 502 & Tornado 302 (full faired version of tnt300) are scheduled to be released.

Can you please update on how the wiring was done and what relays were used. Be a nice DIY for other folks who'd be interested

Good pricing but would recommend to try a different mounting.

Reason :
1. You are not using rear view mirrors. (not exactly a good idea)
2. The light is coming onto the meter console too. It would be an irritant to ride with in night.

Mustang... Doesn't it hamper the warranty... I checked out with service Center and they said that installing any electrical item would hamper the electrical warranty...

So is that the case with all other manufacturers also... I see a lot of people modifying there bikes, especially TB and bullets...

I think we can mount the aux lights in the space allocated for the frame sliders

Its a very simple setup i used a three way switch and the connections are given at the doom itself. No relays or cutouts are used cause its just 12v led. I have not sleeved any wire so the warranty does not void..

No it does not void the warranty as long as you dont damage or alter the original wiring
