Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Leech, let me rephrase....Originally posted by leech View PostThat's a nicely put message to youth like me. As I understand from your post, to gain maturity in bike riding I must do the following-
1) Check top speed.
2) Rev the bike when people are near to make them envy.
3) Get exhilarated when people admire the bike, ask me questions, and applause.
If I follow these points, will I gain the maturity required to ride a TNT 300?
1) Top Speed was on long rides on highways not is chaotic city traffic and it was my first experience to ride any bike that fast. In a city like Bangalore I observe people (young and old / male and female / Educated or otherwise) ride so recklessly (not necessarily fast always) without obeying any traffic rules/ without being considerate to others in traffic / hardly showing any patience on the road / without even caring for their own lives.... and to me that is "immature"
2) Rev the bike is only to listen to the grunt of the twin cylinder, fortunately with a TNT300 others do get impressed with the noise
3) And last point was to just share the overall experience of owning and riding a TNT300 and this is very subjective
It is up to you to follow any of the points or not... but I feel maturity doesn't have to always come with age...
BTW, do you own a TNT300? and have you come across the issue that I have posted?

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
I had the same issue with my pulsar. Issue was with the rectifier. Once it was changed, everything was normal.Originally posted by maxsarat View PostGuys I have a problem with my 300, whenever I am riding my bike either in low beam or high beam for half an hour or more, my battery is getting drained, this is not the case during day time. Also last time when they tested my battery using the altimeter everythings seemed normal. Any guess what could be the problem.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
hey guys,
So I have a question about headlights. My high beam is pretty much useless right now. it points towards the sky.
Do any of you know how to adjust the same? or is it a must to get it done by dealer. the SVC is far from my place
Thanks !Being on two wheels is being liberated. The vastness one feels being under the open sky. The whole feeling. . . cant be described.
Ride safe, Ride long.

The high beam points to the sky as the housing is setup in such a way. Please get it adjusted from the SVC folks. I had to visit the showroom multiple times to get it the way I like it. But here is the thing, the front number plate will surely be a hindrance when you switch to high beam. Hence I have removed the clamp as such. Even after several visits to the service station, the high beam has a "scattered" throw of light. The throw is uneven. But a part of the light falls on the road and not on the sky.
I am planning to install cyclops LED lights. Ill post an update once its complete.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Parts availability is really a concern .
The starter relay on my bike stopped working 10 days back so I called up the svc. They said it would be replaced under warranty but the relay wasn't available. Since then it's been 10 days still no update frm the svc. The availability of parts is really a big concern.due to a small starter relay my bike is lying around.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
What an awesome thread this is. Thanks to all your inputs, I booked the tnt yday. Will get the delivery on the 15th. Moreover my wife's comment, "if not at 40 then when?" gave me an immense push. So after 12 years break, biking is back.

Hi All,
Sorry for crashing in this thread but i also follow this thread as it contains very useful information and a very quality thread.
I own Benelli Tnt 25 which completed 6000 kms recently and last saturday i also changed rear barke pads which costs a bomb Rs 3820/- on enquiring they said that those are sintered pads and are imporred hence costs this much and also got to know from other person at svc that Tnt 300 rear brake pads costs Rs 700/- can anybpdy please confirm as the difference is quite huge considering Tnt 25 is an entery level from Benelli but spare costs are quite high. Thanks,
Anway Kale.
