    Hello guys,

I need someone to enlighten me on the Insurance part of Benelli 300.

The latest bike does come with 4 years of manufacturer warranty.
So is it really needed to go for Zero Depreciation Insurance as parts would anyways be covered under warranty??

@Binil: Bro when you had that issue with your bike rim and tyres that were replaced.
    What exactly have you done??
Claimed manufacturer warranty or Claimed Insurance??

And which brand and type of insurance is the best one currently for tnt300 and how much does it cost for the 2nd year??

Even in warranty, not everything is covered, in case of an accident or damages they will be chargable. A zero Dep insurance, depending on ur insurance company has benefits. They don't just cover accidents but also damaged in engine, which in case they are not covered in warranty. Normal insurance does not cover full amount for fiber, plastic, and rubber items.

In my case. It was not covered in warranty. It was all accidental damage. Hence Insurance. Full amount recovered for all parts including Front tire. I had to pay around 2000 bucks for processing and some other charges. Total bill was around 40000/- INR

I have usually seen a difference of 2-3k between zero Dep and normal. Brand wise, I have had good experience with ICICI Lombard. But I'm presently using Liberty Videocon as it came with the bike and has cashless facilities with the Vinayaka Dealership's service center.

When I bought the bike, insurance amount was around 10k. 2ndYear it was around 7800. Third year the amount increased, due to gst and because I took zero Dep for an older vehicle ... The older the vehicle the higher is the zero Dep top up. So i ended up paying around 8500.

Does AMC or the so called Happy savings plan differ from city to city.
I've checked with Mahavir Benelli Hyderabad and they quoted a price of around 14000 or 1year and 24000 for 2 years..

                    Here I see posts mentioning it's 8000 for 1year and 16000 for 2 years..??

Can anyone throw some light on this..

Not sure if it differs from city to city. However it can be different for the same bike and same duration.

                      For example.

I took AMC for One Year (3 Services) 7th, 8th & 9th - came to around 14k which included two oil changes and the usual nick knacks.
For someone who took the 6th, 7th & 8th service AMC - amount will come to some 11k as there is only one oil change included.
Yes, in AMC the oil change is in 8000kms intervals.
Ask your SVC to give the quotation. It will have a break up of what is included and a comparison chart with regular service prices.
Your final invoice will even have the break-up of parts that will be replaced (ie - included will be whatever is recommended for change or top up, like, engine oil, spark plug, oil filter, air filter, coolant top up, chain lube, etc.)
Ensure you get the service done as per 4000kms or every 4 months, which ever is earlier.

I had done a comparison over 3 services (I serviced over 5 times in the first year, hence not using the term, one year). Cost difference is close to 15-20% depending on which duration service you are signing up for.

Hello Everyone, I picked up my Benelli TNT 300 last week. Amazing experience so far.

                        Couple of questions.

                        1. The sound when you turn on the ignition switch is not as smooth as it was when I received the bike. It starts with the decent sound and right before it settles down, it sounds like a shampoo bottle being squeezed without the shampoo. I might be wrong, but just wanted to know if anyone here have experienced similar issue or is this normal. Any inputs will help.
                        2. I started noticing a pulsating chain clicking noise from the engine which I believe was not there when I first picked up the bike. Wanted to know if it's normal.

Am going to the service station this weekend to check both of them out. But inputs will help for the sake of my own knowledge.

Plus, is there any recommendation for bar end mirrors for TNT 300 ? online or any shop in Bangalore that you guys recommend ?

@Binil, I already checked in motocafe, but they don't have those

You mean the whining sound when you switch on the ignition, when the diagnostics run. That's FI and other components doing a self diagnostics before the bike is started.

Yes, this is common and known fact with the TNT300, specially in higher gears in lower speeds, as you accelerate. As if chains vibrate. It's NORMAL. You just need to learn to not notice it.

Moto Cafe - never had spares & accessories ... They only have automotive gear and maintenance equipment like tools and lubes.
Mirrors, a few I know have got it from AliExpress. Some use the RE Continental GTs mirrors. You have tonnes of sites in Malaysia which see these.
