Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
QJ owns benelli since 2005. The benelli brand has changed hands a couple of times, due to the owners inability to make profits from the motorcycles.
brokenbinil - QJ certainly has the money to enter India on their own, but does the Indian market offer enough incentive for premium bikes for them to set up shop on their own? Im looking for sales data for the benelli bikes for this year. Would be grateful for any leads.

I thought of adding one. But, I'm unsure if the cable length would be enough.Originally posted by Racing_axel View PostDid any one think about handle bar risers for the 300

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
As of now i have added a 600GT handle bar and the riding comfort has increased dramatically, very convenient to ride not only in city but highway too. But the GT handle bar is too expensive and hence i was looking for some alternative.Originally posted by brokenbinil View PostI thought of adding one. Hey, i was planning for this from quite a long time for the rains, then did a small check and found that FZ25's splash can fit or the Ktm but then we need to get a nice holder which can be fixed to the rear tier bolt. As shown in the above link.

The one on KTM 390 looks better than the FZ guard i think..Try it out and let us know ..Originally posted by Racing_axel View PostHey, i was planning for this from quite a long time for the rains, then did a small check and found that FZ25's splash can fit or the Ktm but then we need to get a nice holder which can be fixed to the rear tier bolt. Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Hello Everyone, I've been following this thread for over 6 months now. To put it in simple words, this forum helped me conclude the decision on my next bike and book the TNT 300 (ABS). Thank you everyone for all the inputs and being super active!
I'll be taking delivery before the first half of Jan and I've planned a solo round trip "Bangalore -> Kerala -> Bangalore" (Approximately 1000 Kms) so as always, Questions:
- Since it's a new bike, is it alright to drive that long by keeping the RPM below 5k ? After talking to few people, they recommend tuning the engine by going on long drives rather than covering the first service kms by driving in traffic.
- Can anyone recommend a good motorbike accessories shop in Bangalore ? as of now I only have a helmet and jacket. I want to purchase gloves, shoes, saddle bags and mobile holders.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
You can run-in during a highway run, BUT - do not go at a constant speed, you have to give the engine RPM variations for the engine to run-in well. On highways this is a little difficult to maintain.Originally posted by Surya9189 View Post- Since it's a new bike, is it alright to drive that long by keeping the RPM below 5k ?
