Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Have been using the EBC brake pads from Motousher for about 300 kms now.Originally posted by brokenbinil View PostWould recommend the following if you want to avoid the DSK Benelli Brake Pads from SVC. It's a known brand and works well too.
EBC Brake Pads
The pads are pretty decent and responsive. One has to give it some time to settle in.
Will update once I have done about a 1000kms. I ride a Himalayan. Heard from a fellow H owner that the brake pads are responsive and last longer. So wanted to try it out.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Can anyone suggest me the exact pressure for tyres, because the service manual states 30/33(Front/Rear) but the SVC guy says 33/38(Front/Rear). I stick with the service manual 33/30PSI, but while cruising at certain speed my rear wheel is making some "Buzzing" sound where you can hear like one when the tyre is out of pressure, this makes me go insane and often makes me to check for pressure, but its always the same 33PSI. Is that me who exaggerates the "sound" or is there anything i must look up for?? And have to pointout that iam using nitrogen for my tyres.

For last two and a half years I am using 33 to front and 36 to rear. And, I have been using nitrogen.Originally posted by samhassan View PostCan anyone suggest me the exact pressure for tyres, because the service manual states 30/33(Front/Rear) but the SVC guy says 33/38(Front/Rear). I can understand that one would be super alert while riding their new machine and every small noise will drive one crazy. All you have to do is to check if there is a pattern like:
you upped the tyre pressure today, then check whether there is any drastic reduction of pressure next day. If it is, then again up the pressure and check if it goes down. Look for any punctures. If none, look for tyre alignment with rim. If all fine, then look for any leakage through nozzle and if nozzle pin is alright. Air filling guys at petrol stations would be able to tell you if all is fine as far as puncture and nozzle state are concerned.

I usually check every week or so. Or when I fill fuel.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Thank you guys for such valuable input...i'll look after to the points you had mentioned[emoji106]🏼 actually there wasn't any change in the pressure whenever i check, it always remains the same as 33PSI but its that sound makes me go crazy.🤔 i think making it upto 36 wont be a big deal, so i'll try it for my satisfaction[emoji4]

Hi prassy, you can fetch some from Spartans ProGears, chennai. They are having two stores one at Mount road and another at ECR(East Coast Road). You can also get it from Motonation store which is at Karapakkam OMR(Old Mahabalipuram Road) and ECR too.

Guys, as most of you are aware that I was planning to get the Benelli TNT 300 from Chandigarh and had many discussions about the Chandigarh Dealership being shut and I had to either procure the same from Jalandhar or Delhi, well I decided not to get the bike. Not because the bike has any issues, that I find. It is just the dealership issue and servicing issue, unless i get a guarantee that Benelli is focused on to do something about it in Chandigarh.
I cant risk buying a new bike at a city, where there is no dealership and service center.
Instead, I ended up buying a used Triumph Bonneville T100 (only 5k clocked) from Triumph Chandigarh. There was a customer who wanted to upgrade to a Triumph Tiger and Triumph chandigarh ended up giving me a very sweet deal. I am quite happy with the Triumph for now. Maybe some day I will get a TNT 300 too! Here's a pic of my ride.

Same case here. I picked mine up a few weeks ago. I have checked with the Hyderabad showroom and they said that they cannot retro fit the ABS on the older bikesOriginally posted by xfiasco View PostExperienced members: can we retro fit ABS on our old TNT 300s, took motorcycle 2 months back, now thinking I should have waited 2 months for ABS, but at that time there was no such news.
