Hello Saurabh - Even I got the same information from DSK-Benelli, Pune. I had also called other dealerships (Delhi and Bangalore) as well. Nobody seems to have had any idea. Are they sure about the information? If the news is true that would make this bike almost perfect for my needs. Yaay!

Could not agree more. In fact you remind me of this guy I was talking to from Olx. He owns a TNT300 which he bought in January and he hails from Solan (I guess). He has barely put 4k kms and he has put his bike up for sale. He said he is just tired of the servicing schedule since the only dealer close to his place was in Chandigarh now with that dealer ship closed, he has to travel about 450 kms (Round trip) every four months or 4k Kms. He had also purchased Happy Savings Plan but I forgot to ask him if Jalandhar dealership is honoring that. I highly doubt that they will since the AMC is dealer specific and I don’t think they would transfer their personal information like that to some rival dealer.

KTM - I am not sure about the Madhya Marg showroom...but I know I will not be.

I had test ridden both the bikes back to back yesterday and I think I am pretty much in agreement with you. I took KTM's test drive from KTM-Wakhewadi. In my 10 mins of test drive, I was so sad. Yes, you heard it right, sad. I had such high hopes from this bike. Back in 2016, I was this close to buying it but backed off after EICMA. Here are the letdown points totally from my perspective:
    1. If you are 6"1'ish lanky guy like me you will have to struggle to find a comfortable spot. I didn’t manage to with the time I had.
    2. The bike damn vibey man. What people call raw power, I call it unrefined. Even the plastic surrounding the key hole was as ratting like anything and it was like that with every display vehicle in the showroom.
    3. I think now I know why people have problem with their wrists and back. I felt handle bar is unnecessarily wide, foot pegs are too much rear set which in turn puts all the pressure on wrists and back.
    4. Bike can reach stupid speeds before you can realize but I feel it has poor lower end torque which is important in the city use and I think that is why you will find yourself changing your gears frequently. It is pure fun on open stretch of tarmac.
    5. The bike I test rode had weird tak-tak noise coming from the engine. The engine noise was so much I was not even able to hear the exhaust note.
    6. I like the styling of the bike. I have always loved those orange colors and how it felt like riding a BMX bike (read: felt puny)

    Street Rod 750
Good to hear that bro. I only have ridden Street and Iron-883 from Harley line up. Is Street Rod available for test ride at the Harley showroom in Elante mall? Though I am not looking to own an expensive bike but a test ride won’t hurt anybody :-)

Leoncino and TRK 502…I reiterate, TNT 300 is the bike that still matched my needs and my pocket.

Yes, I was told exactly the same thing by the Benelli showroom that Leocino is going to launch about Diwali and TRK next year but yes, they are definitely India bound. I am too looking forward for Benelli just waiting for showroom to open in Chandigarh. May be we both can go and check the bikes out once the showroom opens.

Dude, you're in Chandigarh or Pune or both?...Call it a coincidence...they did let me ride the one in the showroom, since I waited at the showroom for 4 hours for the rain to stop...TNT 300 ABS launching in September was not expected, since there is no news about it...302R is the talk of the town right now! Hope you enjoyed the ride. The test ride camp that was supposed to happen last Friday, at Chandigarh, didn’t happen, thanks to Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. Let’s see when things get sorted. I think we need a lot of patience when it comes to Benelli, especially in a city like Chandigarh

Haha...my Job makes me travel a lot. I am in Pune for quite some time, will come back by September end. I think not giving rides is a marketing gimmick all right but on the same time they are being cautious of the customers crashing the test bike. For TNT300-ABS, even I was surprised to hear that it is coming with ABS. I still am not very confident either since it’s not there anywhere in the news but I am somewhat hopeful since every two wheeler above 125CC has to have an ABS from 2018 as per government directive.

Did they reschedule this test ride event? I would very much like to be there when this happens.

Seems legit, since he even offered me a test ride for the ABS version early next week. And the AMC package also looks good, I remember earlier it was costlier, amounting to 11k per year, if I remember correctly. Go for it man!

I also got same info in Bangalore dealer. They are ready to offer test drive with ABS during next week and delivery after 15 Sept. AMC is about 22K for 2 years (7 services)
Looks like ABS is added and no other changes. Price indicated is about 4.2 in Bangalore

Hi Binil I think you should also take a free trail of Powertronics Piggyback as they are based out of Bangalore and would be more than eager to offer you the trail of their ECU.
You can get in touch with Race Dynamics team Bangalore

I was planning Spiti on my TNT 300 from Hyderabad, but round trip is around 5K KMs, with AMC taken I have to be here again after 4k Kms for next servicing, still finding a way out here.., I dont want to ship my bike by courier/train..short service interval is catching up for looongish rides..

Same problem I faced when going for leh-ladakh trip. So, what I did was had my service about 1200 km before the necessary time. That gave me 5200km before the next service and engine oil top up also happen on every 8000km in AMC. So, that also helped me.

RC 1060 is a universal filter and needs to be fixed on the intake directly. So, in case of twins u will need two of these. Fixing it will still be a problem, as even after removing the airbox, i doubt there will be enough space to fit it under our tanks.

Will putting the DNA FILTERS affect engine life as I had read numerous stories about engine damage due to airfilter

It's quite a debatable topic. I have personally used K&N on my R15 before this. Never had issues. On older bikes, up-jetting of the carb was always a concern but in FI based fueling the air fuel mixture adjusts automatically.

As for the damage concerns raised, one needs to be aware of what an air filter does and where it's limitations are. These filters are designed to run without any cleaning for 15000kms. But, if you are aware that you are using it in dusty condition, you should consciously clean them at 10000kms. or so.
Then the recharging of the air filters is an imp step people miss out. If you miss that the filter won't function as required.

As long as one takes care of such things, there is nothing to worry about.
