Exactly! Need to learn writing a travellog like these two!

          ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

Which tank bag is best suited for TNT 300?
          I have shortlisted -
          Viaterra or Rynox Optimus

            Appreciate the kind words ABP

I am using my old cramster which is doing a good job with Benelli and acts as shield against Wind
Otherwise both brands u mentioned above are good. My personal choice would be Rynox though.

I have been using the ViaTerra Magnetic Tank bag for over a year now. All good. I found the Rynox a little too big for my taste.

                9th Service Update:

Well, got the 9th service done for my Benelli at around 27200 Km on 1st July.

Got the clutch cable changed. Couple of days before the service, when I went for a short ride, suddenly my motorcycle speed dropped drastically at 6th gear. Twisting the throttle only resulted in more 'boom boom' but no increase in speed. I rode like that for about half a kilometer. Then, the motorcycle behaved normally. I feared damage to clutch plate. Thought clutch plates were slipping. I shivered at the very thought of changing clutch plates. Because at 27 k+ km, I am 100% sure service folks will say it's wear and tear and not covered under warranty. But during the service, it turned out to be worn out clutch cable.

Oil pressure sensor switch changed. I did not find any issue with this when I gave my motorcycle for service. Even the oil pressure indicator was not on. But, I don't know what happened during service, the oil pressure sensor came on and stayed on. So, they had to change it.

Spark plugs changed. Periodic change. It's been 15000 Km with the previous ones. After spark plug change, I could feel the change in the performance. So, this was a much required change.

Filters changed. Oil and sponge filters are changed. Again sponge filter was a much required change.

Oil change. Normal oil change. Oil was not changed during previous service as I had ridden just 1 or 1.5 K Km during the interval between the services. So, I had requested them to not to change the oil then. But now, I got it changed as my beast had clocked around 3K km since last service plus there was a gap of 8 months.

The service happened on the day of GST implementation. So, there was lot of confusion over invoicing and taxes. So, they charged me an approximate value of Rs.12323. Oh, Yeah! I did not faint. Love for this motorcycle has made me strong to withstand all these punches.

Today, I left my motorcycle for an issue. Normally, every time I start my motorcycle, I allow it in idle for about five minutes and wait till temperature reaches 50 degrees. this is very important to maintain your motorcycle's engine's health. But yesterday, as soon as I started my motorcycle, it would shut down instead of idling. I checked for any FI indicator suggesting a failure. Nothing like that. I started the motorcycle, and instead of allowing to idle, which it was not doing anyways, I just rode it. After riding for about 20 minutes, I stopped the motorcycle, turned it off, and after sometime turned it on again. This time it idled but at 1000 RPM instead of normal 1500 RPM and I could see and hear the exhaust note was not normal bass abut it was huffing and puffing, literally panting. I rode back home and checked again. Same thing. I was irritated. Next day morning, same story repeated. So, left my motorcycle at service center. They took a test ride and confirmed that it's not normal and assured quick fix.

Evening, they called to inform that motorcycle was ready. It was ready indeed. And, everything was normal. Issue was with stepper motor which controls idling. There was dust and carbon accumulation which called for an overhauling. So, no part replacement. Just o/h fixed it. I also had raised another concern of horn not working ( known issue for which horn was changed once ) They said they have cleaned and done some fixing. Horn worked. However, they assured me if it stops working again when temperature increases, then they would replace it next time. Eventually horn stopped working in bumper to bumper traffic. So, will get this replaced whenever I go that side.

Finally, they said that they have to return me 2381 rupees as they had overcharged me last time due to GST complications. They did this voluntarily. They mentioned that last time they had charged approximate value and after proper invoicing as per GST, they found I was overcharged. Hence refunding. I was happy with this. But still 9 K+ was a huge amount for the service but I consoled myself as there were unexpected changes of oil pressure sensor and clutch cable. If I removed these two from billing, the service charge would have come down by another 2000 Rupees.

Will opt for AMC when I go next time as it was not available last time, again thanks to GST. Ride safe folks!

Completed 400 kms till now, motorcycle is running awesome..could not find run in details in owner's manual provided by dealer folks..not sure if I got such a useless booklet with technical specification and service details only or everyone got same.
Found one detailed user manual online( says 6000 rpm first 1000 km and then 8000 rpm till 1600kms) ,attaching the same if anyone requires.
I am going to opt for AMC as I travel a lot and generally cover 20k withing 1 yr of my owning any motorcycle, here I am getting 8800 rs for 2nd , 3rd and 4th service, seems good to me against general 21 k for same set of services without AMC.

P.S: 15 MB file could not attach so pasting link here: http://www.motorcycle.in.th/filemgmt/index.php?id=284

Not sure whether they have made any changes to the owner's manual. But owner's manual that I received has a very clear section for break-in. I followed instructions in that section and engine after two years is still a gem. Adding the picture for your reference.

Can you please let me know which model? I am unable to find it on their site. I see few which have high/low intensity but not with high/low beam. Thanks in advance.
I actually have my eyes on Baja designs Squadron. Need to take a call on whether should go for sports or Pro. But if you say, Rigid has one with high/low beam function then that would help.

The one for two wheelers is the Rigid Ignite... Two pods. Both flood and spot with high low switch and wiring.

Thanks for the revert Binil.. Well, those are super compact and even has a Gopro mount. Not sure how effective they would be on a motorcycle. Anyways, there is no high and low beam, its high and low intensity.

Yeah, my bad. That's what I meant. Two modes. And the beams are powerful. Check it out for urself before you buy. They look small but are adequate. All two wheeler lights made by denali n rigid are of similar sizes. Else if u looking for bigger options. AliExpress it is

I prefer branded ones. I have already reviewed Denali/Rigid/Clearwater and Baja designs. I mostly would go for Baja designs.

                                Facing two issues -
                                1. Right indicator (Front & Back) is blinking dimly when ignition is on, irrespective of whether indicator switch or parking switch is on or off. Maybe due to water. I use bike cover all the time.
                                2. Seat is accumulating water, when you apply pressure it gets drained.
                                Visiting SVC this weekend.
No word on AMC yet, their systems are still closed.
