Re: Happy Savings Plan by Benelli
Hi Binil it is not continuous leaking but if the bike is kept for more than 10-12 hours, few drops can be seen leaking. I fail to find out why it had started suddenlyOriginally posted by brokenbinil View PostIf it's not continuous and is not leaking now don't bother. Minute leakage is fine. Usually happens with temperature changes. Happened to me once. Never happened again.

It's ODD that it leaks when kept idle and not in use. Have you been able to find the source of the leak ?Originally posted by maxsarat View PostHi Binil it is not continuous leaking but if the bike is kept for more than 10-12 hours, few drops can be seen leaking. Re: Happy Savings Plan by Benelli
HI ALL,
Have been following tnt 300 posts....i am planning to buy a bike this august have in mind some options ...tnt 300 is one of them.
Would like to know from you all the AMC packages and the costs of maintaining a tnt 300.
Are the amc packages provided by the showrooms still applicable or there have been changes due to GST.
Is anyone here who has used tnt 300 more than 5 to 6 year

Re: Happy Savings Plan by Benelli
Benelli was launched in India in 2015 April. I have been using since 2015 July. With or without GST over all there won't be much difference, around 2-3% max.Originally posted by Niks_23 View PostHI ALL,

Believe you meant longevity of the bike by asking if anyone has used since 5 years. Well i can say the bike is over engineered and is strong enough to handle Indian beating. Yes as it is with any motorcycle you need to maintain and take care of it well. Don't expect it to run like the pulsar or the older bikes which u didn't need to bother much with maintenance.

AMC packages surely helps you reduce your over all costing by 20-30% depending on the package you select.Originally posted by Niks_23 View PostHI Yathi,

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
My friend, its one of the best mini twin cylinder bike in India. The only concern I heard so far is the heavy maintenance charge specially due to their service providers in India, dsk. If you are buying new one and if you take care the bike well, the current AMC package will help you to control expenses. Whatever dsk offering these days is due to initial owners and due to their follow-ups. You go through this forum, it will give you enough information's. My only request to you is, don't buy by someone else suggestion or definitely not because of the exhaust note. These bikes are not like pulsars or unicorns, it has its own character, also premium comes with expence.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Hi Guys Was just thinking with the current situation between India and China what could be the future of Benelli Bikes in India especially the availability of spare parts, and also new models launch may be get affected. I am keeping my fingers crossed so that peace and prosperity should prevail between both the countries.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Nothing is going to happen, In India almost every other electrical product has parts from China. India is a market for China, So just happily enjoy the bike and stop thinking about these things.Originally posted by maxsarat View PostHi Guys Was just thinking with the current situation between India and China what could be the future of Benelli Bikes in India especially the availability of spare parts, and also new models launch may be get affected. Yes thanks yathi..for the inputs...wanted to hear the same what u had mentioned (the only concern I heard so far is the heavy maintenance charge specially due to their service providers in India, dsk. However will never buy a bike only for its exhaust and just based on someones suggestions..not one of them..paying hard earned money just to be happy with what others are happy ....not my style
But thanks a lot for all your inputs will look forward for many more on this forum before making a decision

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Hello everyone,
Here we go! Pics from first ride. One of my friend also got his 300 delivered 10 days before delivery of my bike!
I was searching for a good commuter and touring bike since last one year. First thing came to my mind was KTM Duke 390 (obviously looking at full package and VFM product). But after using my apache RTR 160 for 9 years and 95000 kms I was keen for an upgrade to twin cylinder. My options was N300, R3 and TNT 300. Faired bikes are not my cup of tea so started some R&D on TNT 300. This thread helped a lot, although I liked overall sound, looks & performance (Yes! Dont need a crazy performance of Duke) I was bit thrown away after finding out issues like fuse issue, horn issue, initial bad RSA and HUGE maintainance & parts costs. But I got answers to all my queries as I kept reading this thread.
Currently we have a new dealer for DSK Benelli in Pune A.B. Automotive. All guys at showroom and at SVC know what they are doing. They are well aware of what these bikes mean for its owners and they value their customers. I asked a sales guy for a long test ride before booking. Initially he refused but later he aggreed. He also offered me a sweet discount on accessories.
Pune people planning to buy a bike can contact him - Mr. Ajinkya Zbylut - 7030955230
Recently joined Benelli Owners Club, Pune people are very enthusiastic, helpful and always concerned about safety!
Planning to buy safety gear and tank bag very soon (Again accessories thread here is helping alot). Any recomendations is always welcome!
Done with First Service at 870 kms, So run in period is over
3095/-
Motul 7100 10W50
Used my chain lube at SVC after 500 kms and for first service - Tribocor TC 205
No word on AMC package as of now.
Accessories fitted -
- Frame Sliders Front and Back
- Tyre Protection
- Tank Pad
Modifications Planned -
- Mudflap Extentions.
- Change place of front number plates.
- Not planning to do any coating as of now just a wax polish every alternate sundays!
Any other modifications recomended keeping in mind long distance touring.
Isssue facing / General Observations -
- Noise from chain between 3.5k-4k RPM in any gear. Got it checked from SVC they said its normal and wll be gone after first service. But it didnt.
Sounds like chain is vibrating and hitting something. Planning to visit SVC again. One of the owner is also facing same issue.(Covered 970 kms till now)
- Fuel Indicator is not accurate.
- RPM Needle is vobling a bit while changing a gear - is this normal?
Other than this no issues!
Cheers,
Abhishek
