Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
I had an issue with rear left indicator after the motorcycle was serviced. It would turn on but a slight shake or touch would turn it off. Initially, the service advisor said it was due to water. But, issue persisted even after it was dry. So, they changed it under warranty. So, your issue may not be related to water if it persists even after drying up. Now coming to your issue, it seems more of wiring. Have the battery connections checked. But, have this done at service center only.Originally posted by ABPatwardhan View Post

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Good to know that prices have dropped. I guess same should be the case in Bangalore. But thanks to exorbitant and inexplicable road taxes in Karnataka, prices comparatively are steep. Oh sorry! I forgot, they tax us so that they can pay people who dig the roads and create additional road humps and pits to reduce speeding every 10 meters. Guess you don't have such facility in Coimbatore.Originally posted by prasssy View PostI booked it at DSK coimbatore, Tamilnadu.
On road price 3.68 lakhs.
Rates has been reduced after GST by around 6K.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
If the motorcycle hasn't been drenched in rain or a water wash, it's recommended to get it checked at the SVC. Some Dukes face similar instances on the dash where the indicator sign would faintly come on during rainy rides and would would return to normal once the motorcycle is dried. The Dukes have almost everything exposed so water ingress is very easy, shouldn't the case with the TNT 300 as most items are well camouflaged, do get it checked for faulty wiring or ground circuitry.Originally posted by ABPatwardhan View PostFacing two issues -
1. Right indicator (Front & Back) is blinking dimly when ignition is on, irrespective of whether indicator switch or parking switch is on or off. Maybe due to water. I use bike cover all the time.
2. Seat is accumulating water, when you apply pressure it gets drained.
Visiting SVC this weekend.
No word on AMC yet, their systems are still closed.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Hi guys,
I purchased my Benelli second-hand months ago. It really is a fantastic bike but one thing that gets to me is the short gear ratios within the first 4 gears. It makes it particularly difficult when you are weaving through traffic because you constantly have to shift back and forth between gears and the bike is screaming but not really moving much.
I am considering putting a size 15 front sprocket on the bike. . .However, before I do so I want to know if any one has done so and what their experience was.I know I will be loosing a bit of power, but in exchange for longer gears and a lower rev needle it seems worth it. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Frame sliders are a must. But front and rear combined will cost 4 K. Not sure why you have been quoted 7 K.Originally posted by prasssy View PostActually i am from Trichy, central part of tamilnadu. Tank pad is necessary. It will cost around 600.
I am running my motorcycle completely stock. Only above mentioned, sliders and tank pad, are added.
If you need, you can add a Windscreen which could help reduce wind blast during touring. Apart from these I don't see necessary of any other add-ons.

The frame sliders i am mentioning is metal make, and the ones made of rubber costs 4K, that too for 2 sets. Tank pads looks cool, and costs as you said. Ok, will add on a tankpad in my bike. Nothing more available in dealer point other than foldable clutch lever and brake lever, which costs 9K. Thought of changing it after a while.

First of all, your bike looks nice. the modes are neatly done.Originally posted by Shaun22P View PostHi guys,

Change in sprocket size would help but will impact ur top speed and acceleration.
We use the bike in stop and go traffic in India ... I usually putter around in 3rd gear. Don't need to change the gears often.Last edited by brokenbinil; 07-26-2017, 03:47 PM.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Hi Binil,
Can you please help on which knuckle guard you use on your bike, if it is direct fit? and shed some light on saddle stays, is it anyhow hampering rear foot peg/pillion comfort or rear indicators? I will be touring mostly with pillion so checking on how to fit my saddle bags with pillion comfortably.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Acerbis or Barkbusters are the best knuckle guards. They are expensive as they come with an aluminium lining, not just plastic. I am not using one on my bike.Originally posted by xfiasco View PostHi Binil,

Saddle Stays, I got them designed so that they can hold bags a little towards the back. All ready made saddle bags in the market will take up space on the pillion foot rest. At the moment I am using two 25 L aqua-paqs fixed with Bungees on the saddle stays. You can see the picture in my 2nd blog link below.
I am still on look out for a good saddle bag which will work on the T3 without taking up space of the pillion foot rest.Last edited by brokenbinil; 07-31-2017, 03:50 PM.
