Hello ThirtyOne, welcome to the fold my far friend. I love the rim decals, adds an 'Italian' class to the bike. If its a DIY job, i would say, nicely done.

Just an odd observation: I noticed that you bike doesn't have any license plates. Now, I understand that you have just purchased your bike and I think you are in the process of getting your bike registered but don't you get some sort of temporary registration numbers like we do here in India?

I had mostly purchased/rented 2nd hand cars while staying/travelling abroad so I am not aware how does it goes and hence the question.

Ride safe and keep us posted with your mods. cheers!

Yes, the rim decals add a nice touch. I am in the process of removing the written "Benelli" decals on the tank (I'll keep the green badge of course). The "Benelli" sticker didn't peel off easily. It just crumbled piece by piece, so it took me nearly an hour of gentile scraping with my fingernail. Perhaps next year I'll take the sticker off on the other side! haha.

Yes, you are correct, I have no license plate. Here in Honduras, the government is having issues getting license plates for motorcycles. I first encountered this in 2012 when I bought my first bike here. I owned the motorcycle for 2 years, 2012-2014 and they still never were able to get me a license plate. I was notified mid-2015 that my plate had finally arrived, long after I had sold the bike!

It's still the same story. Now, I ride with a "permiso" which means it's a paper document that is a "permission" to ride. I have to go to a government building every 30 days to have a new stamp put on the paper. I have some inside connections and am trying to get a license plate as soon as possible so that I can take the bike to neighboring countries. But yes, it's very common to see newer bikes here with no plates. It's just how it is.

        .
Use some petrol while taking of the sticker. Let the bike sit in Sun for an while before u do that. The heated body panel helps peal it off.

Exactly. I used an adhesive remover, let it soak, and it helped some. Next time I'll take a hair dryer to it for a little. It's rough working under this hot Honduran sun.

              Hey guys! Namaste from Nepal.

I am thankful that there is a benelli tnt 300 thread here. I hope you guys can help me out with this one.

So, I've owned this bike for a year now, and have clocked 15000km by now. The bike was doing great till I gave it for 4th servicing.
The issue is that, when I blip the throttle hard to overtake (or say, like when you rev it to high rpm while doing a wheelie), the bike
loses throttle response completely. I'll have to stop the bike, switch it off (wait for about 30 secs) and on again to start the bike.
This is really annoying. I've been to benelli workshop with this problem for the third time now, but they can't seem to know what
the issue is with. The diagnosis device does not seem to provide any specific problem as well.

So far, they've tinkered with engine head gasket, oil pressure sensor, ignition/starter switch (above gearbox). The electrical unit and
wiring all seems to be fine. Now they've told me that if this problem where to persist, they would change spark plug. I keep telling
them it was all good before fourth servicing. I'm loosing confidence on them as mechanics. These servicing does not come cheap either.
The fourth servicing cost me NPR 10500 (INR 6500).

Anyone of you guys have had this kind of problem? Please someone provide me an insight on this problem.

              Thanks.

This sounds like an ECU issue. Have they reflashed the ECU yet. Get them to do that if they haven't ... If they can't flash it, get them to replace the ecu from another bike to test and check.

Hey! Really appreciate your suggestion. I'll suggest the same to them. There are times when temperature reading shows -80/-125 or 130, but the bike would function normally.
Anyways, would throttle-position-sensor failure contribute to this?

The TPS sensor being faulty can also create similar problems. It would be a good point to check. It's quite a unique issue havemt come across such a case here yet. The closest I can think of is a friend who has loss of power over all. They suspect its the magnetic switch issue. It's yet to be fixed, so more update on that later.

Has anyone here tried LED Headlight bulbs in your T3? I have been contemplating but doubt if the heatsink will fit in the head light assembly.

I'd second this thought. Absolutely sounds like an ECU issue, not something mechanical.

Goodies from the USA arrived this afternoon!

Puig Rafale Universal Windscreen in smoke.

                          Givi SR8702 Rear rack

Givi E251 monokey adapter plate. (which will fit my Givi Trekker case when it arrives from the USA in the next couple of weeks.)

I haven't fitted anything yet. Install pics and commentary to come this week when I have time to do some wrenching.

I decided to fit the windscreen this evening. It's extremely adjustable! I'll test it on the way to work tomorrow. I set it at a height that I can see over and also in a more vertical setting. From the looks of some others on this thread, you guys placed the bottom tip of the screen over the black plastic deflector that's already mounted on the bike. You can see I mounted mine up a little further.

Anyone have any advice about adjusting and playing with this screen? I know different body dimensions dictate different screen settings. Just curious if anyone played with theirs a lot and has any universal advice.

                            Thanks.

That windscreen looks exquisite. I was talking with Shanky (MadrasMotorHead) about this windscreen. It definitely enhances the looks of the bike not sure about the practicality though. Could you put link here for other prospective buyers?

Also, have you though of doing something with Headlight assembly. I personally find it very appalling on the other wise very beautiful bike.

Keep the updates coming Mr. ThirtyOne!

Hey, yes, the windscreen looks very good on the bike. I'll be honest, I am much more pragmatic when it comes to accessories, and I bought this screen primarily for functionality. I do quite a bit of touring and I'm trying to make it work. As per your request, I bought the screen here. I have been buying from them from years and they're fantastic to deal with. I couldn't recommend them more.

I have been testing the screen for the past two days in this position and while it has helped keep some of the wind off my chest, I am going to try a few other configurations out.

As far as the headlight assembly, I don't have any issues with it. If I were to invest any amount of money into the setup I would consider a LED or auxiliary lights for better visibility at night, but here in Honduras riding at night as very dangerous and I don't do it. So for me it's not worth the investment. I'm saving the money for gas, travel, and tires. They don't sell them with Michelins fitted here and they're super expensive to import!

                                More updates to come.
