How about the saree guard then Raghu ? Did you ever wonder why CKDs are not coming with saree guard. While N650 does come with a guard. Then why not Benellis.

The Benelli's did not even have the front number plate when the bike was first showcased. You can clearly see it was a last minute job. In fact someone was saying that in Mumbai they are actually removing the front number plate before delivery. Don't think the saree guard was ever incorporated for Benelli's ...

On a lighter note have you seen the saree guard on the er6n ... you can make a barbecue grill out of it. :P

My intention was not to frighten you in anyway. Its just that the cop was probably trying his best to get money. I don't know if thats true or not.

As long as we are right on our side, we don't have to owe an explanation to anyone.

Its a mandatory rule(AFAIK) that saree guard should be installed on any bike.So if the cop is in a mood to ask for money and you dont have a saree guard then he can charge you for it(As long as Saree guard is mandatory law, which i think is in India)

              Received NYX after first service.

              Break-up:
              Engine oil - 3 Litres - Cost - Rs 2475
              Oil filter - Cost - Rs 312
              Consumable - Cost - Rs 950

              Total Cost - Rs 3870/-

              Impressions:
              1. Clutch is extremely hard. It flared up my tennis elbow in just 10 minutes.
              2. Front brake is way too strong now. Front wheel got jammed and skid when I applied it today.
              3. The low beam-high beam issue has not been rectified. Will get it fixed this week. They have asked to me drive it during the night to check.
              4. Engine seems butter smooth. (as always)
              5. Have to check mileage and will keep you posted if there is any change.

                2. Front brake is way too strong now. Front wheel got jammed and skid when I applied it today.- Check preak pads or ask him to clean it.Also its not supposed to happen.i believe you feel its very progressive and kind of On-Off?

I asked them and this is what they told me. When the service center was a part of the showroom, the consumable cost was 500 and not it's 950... It's weird...

Do I have to ask for an explanation ?

On low beam, a stream of light hits the sky. This is a problem with almost all 300. On high beam, the intensity is extremely poor. I can see nothin on the road. I asked then to adjust the panel and they have done it... Needs more adjustment.

Maybe design fault if most of them R having.
Write a mail to benelli about it and see their response.ideally is can be adjusted.however of u really want a precise adjustment there is a thread in xbhp from prince who has given a DIY on how to exactly do it.
It's the best I have seen so far and its a precise method of doing it.just Google it and u will surely find it.I will also try to find though
