Your profile shows that you are from Chennai

Loving each moment with my NYX. She behaves extremely good inside the city. It loves to be driven slow and revved hard as well. Life comes after 5k RPM. You will feel the difference once you cross 5k RPM.

The linear power delivery makes it suitable for long tours and city ride.

OT: Its good buddy, Just 1 small niggle, I expected more, but lucky 1. Headlight throw is awkward, low beam is like torch light and high beam is not powerful enough, so using high beam to ride in the night inside city, since the streets are illuminated well, no issues there.

Will get it rectified sometime next week. Thinking of a short sprint on Sunday, will look out for company soon.

I'm happy you got your bike. I hope @dhwazz29 gets it soon and we can probably go for a ride.

I am visiting the SVC tomorrow morning to install the mudflaps, adjust the clutch and to adjust the headlights. If you are free, do join. Probably we can go for a ride after that.

Hey Arch! I will get my bike today I suppose. That green one is mine only. Loooooongg story. Hope to meet you and speak about it. So glad you got yours!!!! It's the worst feeling ever to be away from the bike.

Yea... Shame that color is stopped. It's the logo colors and looks great to me. So does that mean my bike is an exclusive limited color paint version???

                          Hi Guys,

I hope you are all doing well. I need some info about the Benelli tnt 300 as I was originally planning to upgrade from the R15 but ended up with the Duke 200 due to personal reasons.
at first I thought the duke would handle highway rides with ease and of course she does ride well at highways (90 kmph ish) but I wanted a bike capable of cruising somewhere in the 110 ~ 120 kmph territory.

                          Well on with my queries..
I am based at Chennai and I do long rides once or twice in a month and if time permits, short rides in and around Chennai during my weekends on the D200.
                          - Is the TNT a good bike for stop and go traffic or will it get heated like the Duke?
                          - What is the average fuel economy you are all getting on the Benelli TNT 300 and what is the tank capacity and range?
                          - Does the bike feel relaxed and composed when cruising upward of 110 kmph? also what about wind blasts/cross winds and stability?
the duke does 100 at 7.5k RPM which makes me feel like the bike is restless and stressed.
                          - How is the service network of DSK benelli? any new branches opened at Chennai??
                          - Spare part availability and cost compared to other brands?
                          - How long do consumables like the brake pads, levers and cables last? are they on par with Kawasaki?
                          - I am fan of ER6n so I am more inclined towards the Benelli 300 as it resembles the ER
                          - How much was charged for the Free services and the paid services?
                          - Do they offer the MRF rev z as an option to the stock Pirelli ones?

Well... The Duke is a fun bike to ride but on the highways I find her very restless especially @ ~100 and above speeds.
also the tank range is less... if I ride at 100~ kmph ish its taking a toll on the FE.
So I am thinking of changing from the D200 to TNT 300(which happened to be my actual choice 6 months ago)

                          I am in complete dilemma..
The duke has clocked 6k kms on the odo and 6 months old.
I like the bike but the hard saddle, hot engine (only inside the city) - Not a Fan
High Torque nature and short gearing - super fan

But I am more like a relaxed sports cruiser kind of guy with occasional speed bursts.
                          my final question

should I get a gel seat and continue to use the duke 200 OR Should I get the Benelli TNT 300?

                          OR

should I get The ER6N (My Dream Bike)??

I am 5 foot 7 tall and somewhat average built guy.

                          Many Thanks

Well I'm gonna buy a 300 in the upcoming months and this bike is really a beauty and it suits for highway riding... The ergonomics are perfect for highway riding unlike the duke it delivers excellent power! I don't know about the service of DSK. Well if you love a bike you don't care of the service of the company right? I would say go with your heart...the power delivery is a little late but once you get past 7k rpm, it just roars!!! And where do oh live in chennai?

Yes you are right about getting the bike you love and I totally agree to that.. but we should also think about the long term day to day usability, Reliability, spare part availability, running and maintenance cost right? like i told before, this bike offers the looks of my dream bike (the ER) and the sound like an inline.. I am a complete sucker for this combination.

so that's why I need inputs. And Yes, I live @ Chennai near Ambattur.

I just heard the news that the TNT 300 is gonna get replaced by a 400cc engine. So it's kinda better to wait till the second half so that we could get confirmation about the new 400... It is a parallel twin though except the engine has changed!! I totally agree with you that it's a beauty I mean I fell in love with it when I visited the showroom...
