    Hey fusion.

Did you get your bike checked with the SVC guys ?

Whats their answer to the radiator, disk brake and paint marks ?

yup radiator is being replaced and disk issue disappeared after clocking a few Kms.

I visited the svc guys today... Got the vehicle washed, polished and chain lubed. Costed me 570...
The engine crackling issue is something common... It's nothing to worry about... It's the alternator coil that is expanding and contracting... Thanks for all your tips, info and help guys... Nyx looks sexy as ever now...

Throttle response: It is good but not that great... May be it improves after first service...
Week locking up : I personally have never used the back brake... My foot I always below the back brake lever. But I've heard, if you punch it in panic it does lock up.
Downshift: I don't think you should be too hard on it at right at the beginning. It's pretty tight and difficult to downshift during the first hundred kms... Just be easy on it and it will all fall in place.

Thanks shashank. But I'm asking about engine braking and rapid downshifting.

Oops... Sorry... I misunderstood your question.. I have been very gentle with her and haven't tried rapid downshift till now... I have rather used the front brake in a panic situation today but I did not down shift at all... Once the bike stopped I came down to 1st gear and proceeded...

Experimental head, binil, abhi and others... This question is for you guys...

I am someone who uses engine braking a lot. Wheels do not lock up and respond very well during engine breaking. You can safely do the same without worry. ALso the engine doesn't feel stressed out either.

Well I do rely on engine braking a lot. So that sounds good. I don't like ABS as it takes control of the brakes rather than you. But I wish they had a slipper clutch.

I don't need abs.. But I'm spoilt by the slipper clutch in ninja..
