Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
You noticed now? On Tuesday after receiving the bike, when i reached home i notice that... The beam goes upwards about 80 degree.Originally posted by Shashank Suresh View PostToday I found a potential issue with my Nyx... There is a stream or strip of light that is hitting upwards on low beam... It's just a stream of light that is reflecting from the panel and going upwards towards the sky...
Has anyone faced this issue ?
I've talk with Mumbai showroom guy and we'll checking it tomorrow as i anyways need to go to collect the documents...

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
this is a common problem. The light was designed to let airplanes know that there is a benelli riding some where on the road

Must be the problem of the reflector housing. How is Benelli not addressing such silly issues? Im worried, I always look into fine details of such things.
BTB, How is the throw with the stock bulb? adequate for highways? Any idea what bulb(brand & model) have they fit as stock?Ride Safe!

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
I stay in Indiranagar. But mine is Black. I have seen another black one around here. No sure who it is though. So green is a new one added to that list now.Originally posted by yellowspunk View PostAny 300 owners from Halasuru/Indranagar? Saw a green mean one today while heading to office, couldnt catch up LOL
I never really checked the low beam scatter but yes it goes high up also, probably due to the dome shape of the head light. Did not like the stock bulbs (Philips) so changed to Osram Night-breaker Unlimited. Now it is good ... When on highways in night riding I'm using a zip tie on my flash switch and use high beam and low beam together. Does a decent job for cruising at 100 + speeds.Originally posted by sman999 View PostLOL.. That is strange.

Also changed the pilot lamps to white LEDs from Osrams. I use it as DRLs
incase someone is interested ... the headlight bulbs are H7 Type and using the same wattage 55/55Last edited by brokenbinil; 12-11-2015, 02:09 PM.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Shashank, my bike also has this strip of light seen. Found it one night near a signal besides a heavy smoke emitting bus...seen as if a flag pole is kept on your front fenders... well never had any problem because of it...Originally posted by Shashank Suresh View PostToday I found a potential issue with my Nyx... Also i have gone in for the PPF of my tank. Spend @5k but take my word its a very skillful job to get the curves fixed.. Abhijit said that he has only 3 joints but i have 4-5 joints at various location. Though its not seen but when dirt gets collected in between the crease, it looks as if you got a scratch.
Also as for the sliders, i don't know why few of us were charged for installation of sliders, i was not charged. I installed them on my first service.
Did my second service and here's my bill for study... they gave a sling bag to compensate the high price of service when i mentioned that its just 1.5k in Bangalore and Mumbai.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
There is no clarity on actual service and spare rates with DSK. We should push for the SVCs to display the servce charges and labour cost of various jobs, I have seen them across most SVCs of four wheelers and two wheelers alike.Originally posted by ShaijuAK View PostAlso as for the sliders, i don't know why few of us were charged for installation of sliders, i was not charged. Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
I wonder what else they do apart from changing engine oil and oil filter? May be chain slack adjustment?
Three things mentioned in the above bill can be done by DIY I guess. Why should one bother to take it to the SVC for that? Please advise on the portions that I'm missing during service.Ride Safe!
