True.. Ill get them installed soon.

All,

What about the swingarm bend issue after getting it installed ?

+1 on your point regarding the Duke.

I read in the R3 thread that the person who took the test drive of the 300 felt that the engine was sluggish and he also mentioned that it is meant for a different audience. This makes perfect sense. He knows what he wants. This is exactly how we choose a bike and not buy one because we can get one.

Most of the 600 owners who are selling it did not do their homework and just went because of the way it sounded.
Somehow I felt the 600 is the kind of bike what we need, its an in-line four, which means music to our ears and it rides like an RE initially, which means the acceleration isn't of a proper hair-rising in-line 4, which we really don't need in the kind of traffic we ride, but nevertheless it has its treats higher up in the RPM band. I guess most of them selling it off may be the same reason that they expected the acceleration to be quick from the word go...I think Archer would know the difference exactly as he has/had a Bullet before.

The pics that you shared, I honestly couldn't find the difference as I do not know where exactly you are pointing at.

Can you share a pic with that bend and spot highlighted ?

Spool socket are bent on all the bikes here.

just install the ones on the front back is not required.

What you have quoted here is absolutely to the point. Its not a hair raising uncontrollable acceleration, but definitely a sedate one, more sedate like a RE pulling of the line. I guess RE rpm is limited to 6k. But thats when the true power of the I-4 is felt on the 600, post 5.5k rpm..you can sense the mad rush.

People might be selling of their machine be it 300/600, due to their riding style not suiting it or may be they dont fancy it anymore. Its solely up to them. But yeah, after waiting for the delivery, that excitement of owning an Inline 4 or a twin for that matter after upgrading from a single cylinder mill, I guess we are loosing something and chance are more that we might even stumble upon better machine after owning a new one and rest is all story

It's a welding error. Seems one lot of swingarms had this problem. Functionally not a problem but looks bad when you fix a slider.
SVC manager from here has sent pictures to DSK team. Last I know is that they are trying to get a solution for this. I have requested for a swingarm replacement. Lets see what happens.

How do you guys clean your vehicle ?

High pressure water spray is not meant to be carried out. Hence I wanted to know how you clean the engine area and in the middle section of the bike.

3 days on the road and NYX is extremely dirty.

haha..I am having this question in my mind and I can give you some tips/pointers

1. Never pressure wash the dash
2. Avoid pressure wash near the O2 sensors
3. Tires, under belly and the exhaust can be pressure washed.

If you still find your chain dirty, better get a paddock stand and clean it by yourself (I use Motul). Problem is, I cant adjust the chain slackness (rather should I say, I dont know how to adjust)

But I am still not sure where the 02 sensors are.

I have asked permission to be there when they carry out the washing procedure during my 1st service. They do use pressure wash but as u said they know where to hit and where not to. When I get a demo from them and if this happens I will share it with you guys as well.

You will be able to see the O2 sensors just near the exhaust port.

Thats much better, do let us know when you get a chance to see how it is being done.

Today I found a potential issue with my Nyx... There is a stream or strip of light that is hitting upwards on low beam... It's just a stream of light that is reflecting from the panel and going upwards towards the sky...

Has anyone faced this issue ?
