This one - you need three of these for the rear if you want side coverage and to add length to the rear mud flap.

I am at the decathlon store and we are unable to fix the mud flap.

Can you please tell me from which store in banglore you got it ? It looks there are 7 stores. Please tell me the exact store name

You get the mudflaps at any of the Decathlon stores. Please check my last post for the images of the same.

What do you mean by unable to fix it ?
Decathlon doesn't help you with the same. You need to DIY and fix the same.

Me and Akhil would share the video soon. Please note it is not a direct fit. Some Moderate level DIY Skills is required.

Today I took NYX for a drive on the highways.

I went from Guindy to Decathlon store ( Bangalore Highway, Mevalurkuppam B, Near EVP World ). It was 45 KMS in total and it was fun.

I kept watch on the RPM and made sure I did not cross 5k.

I made sure that I kept varying the speed. I also made sure that I did not stay at 5k RPM for more than 20-30 seconds. Meaning I kept varying the speed.

I did feel the heat at times and not always.

I am so happy i was able to take her out as it was lying in the parking lot for the past week because of the rain.

I bought a few stuff from decathlon and I will share it once I reach home.

I'd also suggest you not to baby it too much. Take it past 5k RPM once a while, but don't stay there.

                        Hi all,
Apologies upfront as it might poke your hearts.
After reading all the online reviews and getting super excited went it for a test drive today. There wasn't anyone at the store initially but after few calls it got arranged.
Loved the side look and its much bigger than it seems in pics. Drove it a bit but somehow didn't feel that connected. The acceleration felt sedated and front brake didn't feel that sharp. I caught on 80 quite easily but still unimpressed as to what I expected. After this I got down and started checking the build and although looked great from side, the tank looked small from the drivers view. For that matter, the console also looks bit far and uninspiring with not so great finish on the area where you put the key in or the housing of the switches. Compared the 600i next to it and that really felt premium.
I was really looking forward to book it when I went in but now quite confused if its worth it. Can it be that the niggles I had were with the TD bike only and otherwise its much better?

That's a common thing with all naked bikes. Due to the upright seating position, wide handle bars and absolutely no lean forward, the console will always appear far.

                          Cheers!

Wasn't the case with the 600 or even with a Duke. It felt like my current avenger.

Lol true... Again, I'm just being too cautious... Nevertheless, I enjoyed the ride but at the same time make sure I follow the manual.

                              Btw thanks for calling :-)

I am a proud owner of the the 300 and your comment did not poke my heart. Rather I feel that you have given your honest impression about the bike.

The acceleration feels sluggish due to the weight of the bike and the power delivery is linear. It doesn't produce raw power like the duke.

The instrument cluster is very simple and doesn't not have any fancy graphics to it. I am not trying to down play your point, even the 1130 has a pretty simple looking instrument cluster. I guess that's the way Benelli wants it to be. Simple but getting the job done.

All the switches you see are primitive. Nothing fancy. This is the entry level motorcycle in other parts of the world. In India, this is considered to fit into a premium section of bikes.

I honestly felt that the fit and finish was premium to the amount we spend. Again I am not trying to justify or defend the 300.

The 600 is a different league as such.

Probably you can contact a fellow 300 owner and ride it, may be you feel a difference.

                              Best regards
