      Just a bit off topic

This pic always makes me more happy than the rest. Because we rode hard and through dust. Dustman and Dust-beast

Finally will get the bike today, will ride and update as after Italians serviced my bike its at the service center.

Another fellow rider today faced an issue of worn off chain spocket at 7000 kms.

Wrote a thread in DIY for the front mudguard. However I am unable to see it. Probably it's not approved yet. Once approved I will add the rear mudguard details too. Guess i can share the link too once it's visible to me.

Hello guys, whats the on road price of the 300 in different states? In Delhi they quoted me 3.40L . I saw a video of a guy from hyderabad and i guess its the cheapest there.

Time for an update, guys. I've been off-radar for a bit, but here goes:

The bike had her first service done today. I was only able to cover ~650 km before taking it in. I confirmed if it was necessary to bring her in at this point with the guys at Benelli first.

Servicing went off without a hitch, mostly. It cost me about 3.1k in total.

                          A few points to note:

                          1. Benelli will be replacing my tank due to a manufacturing defect in the paint finish.
                          2. The bike now has frame sliders fixed to it.
                          3. As a few others have reported earlier, the right-side rear frame slider is crooked when fixed to the mount. Benelli said that they would order a new swing-arm and replace the current one. I am unsure if this is absolutely necessary.
                          4. The front brakes still lack bite IMO. I asked for them to be tightened during the service and it appeared that they were at first. However, the more I rode, the more it seemed to be just as before. Now I'm unsure if the brakes are fine and if it's just me. Will have to go back and get this checked

                          Misc:
                          1. Due to the brakes lacking bite (IMO), I got into the nasty habit of relying more on the rear brake than the front. Needless to say, this didn't turn out too well in one instance. Already corrected this, thankfully.
                          2. I've been experiencing a strange problem when cornering, or at least attempting to corner. While making the turn, the rear tyre often 'bounces' and 'jumps' to the side. I'm not sure how to explain it better, but it leaves me feeling quite nervous, as this never happened on my FZ-S. I've experienced this over both smooth and bumpy surfaces. I'm not sure what to make of it. Has anyone else experience something similar? Maybe it's just that I need to get totally adjusted to the extra weight?
                          3. If anyone's interested, the bike returned 390 kms from full till reserve. Second tankful seems to be averaging the same so far.

Sorry for this question. Does 600 and 300 has the same tank size. If so, whats the unusable amount of fuel present in the bike. I am asking this question as I am trying to figure out the range what I can do since I am planning to hit the highways soon for a 300+ km ride.

AFAIK, both the 300 and 600 have 16-liter tanks. I'm not sure what you mean by unusable fuel, but if it is the reserve amount, I think it's about 1.5 litres.

3.41 lakh on-road in Pune. Surprising that Delhi is almost the same. I thought that vehicles were a fair bit cheaper in the NCR.
