    Reason :
    1. You are not using rear view mirrors. (not exactly a good idea)
    2. The light is coming onto the meter console too. It would be an irritant to ride with in night.
    1. I have fixed the barend mirrors on the bike cause the stock mirrors becomes blur at speeds of 100+, without the rear view mirrors i will never ride the bike..
    2. The pick was taken before focusing the lights, took it for a ride at night does not hamper..

Completed 2000 kms in 45 days of purchase.

Completed a 200 kms ride last weekend along with @dhwaz29 The bike behaved beautifully on the highways like it was born to be out there. Having a time time with her.

You can check the pics here:

                    .

I had brought these external gear indicators which is a direct replacement on the gearbox as they have used the original gear sensors but yet when i checked with SVC they said that it will void my electrical warranty.. hence not yet fixed it yet.

Sorry to poke my nose here. But I noticed a used 300 for sale in OLX(Chennai), with ixil exhaust.

Is it from someone here. He has mentioned that 20k is the cost of the exhaust.

Will ixil hamper the performance/mileage. Does it void warranty in Chennai. TIA

It is provided by benelli as an accessory so it doesn't void warranty. Regarding performance it should actually improve, no idea about mileage.

                                Hey Kannan.

You have two types of IXIL exhaust sold by the Benelli guys. They have a tie up with IXIL.

If you install via them, it won't void the warranty. You can also install an aftermarket by yourself, just remove it before giving it for service

It will affect the mileage by a very small margin on the 300. ~2-3 kmpl.

The "round" type costs around 15k and the "cone" shaped costs about 22k.

It "opens" the throttle and accumulates a lot of carbon. That's all. It doesnt increase the performance. Its just a slip on and not a full exhaust system.
