Its definitely better than the stock once as i said earlier above 100+ speed the stock mirrors vibrate. I open them on highways and in city riding i keep them folded, rear view mirrors cannot be put for shows and i have been using barend mirrors on my FZ as well, just that you need to get used to it.

I would like to change the stock ones to get a better field of view in city rides as I have to lean over my shoulder to check also my MT Blade helmet prevents me to look over my shoulder

I felt the stock for me gives a wider view and its doesnt vibrate much even at 120. At 100, i still can get a clear picture of whats following me. I once asked Sasi (not sure if he is there in xBhp, you know him from our Benelli meet ). He told me the bar ends are like a show-off and he doesn't get enough view. He installed his mirrors from Hardeep, GP road. So, you can ask him for a second opinion. Not sure which make/model is that, but definitely not Rizoma.

Did you try and adjust the mirror forward or back accordingly to check the fov? Bar ends are a waste according to me. Already the Benelli handlebars are wide enough to annoy you in traffic sometimes and to that you don't wanna add bar ends.

True. I'm quite satisfied with the existing mirrors. Are intact at high speeds too. But yes does blurr out due to vibs at 120+ ... But doubt that the bar ends would also vibrate.

Well just for the info Triumph sell them as add on accessories and am pretty sure lot of RnD goes behind it before selling them. The barend fits on the dampers so it does not hamper in traffic, rest depends on once choice..

@binil, it does not vibrate even on 120+..

Well that was a personal opinion, that's why I said "according to me". No offense.

The main thing I'm worried abt is that it extends the handle bars which is a pain in the city traffic. You have to turn and lower your head as well to get a glimpse of what's behind you. It's good that it doesn't vibrate at 120+. If you are comfortable with that well & good then.

I kinda became lazy after getting used to the RVM in my CBR 250R :P you don't even have to turn your head

Honestly I don't need a mirror in highways. In city I desperately need a very good view of whats happening on my sides as we do not have any lane system.

That being said, It doesnt really matter to me if I am using bar ends or the regular ones. Please let me know if we have aftermarket regular mirrors.

Guys 3 riders from Mumbai have faced the chain & Socket wear out issue before 6000 kms this is a real short time for the chain to wear out.

guess we need to write to DSK Benelli together about this issue.

He meant chain and sprockets. Yes , the duration is really low. And the cost is high!

                          Please answer the below questions.

                          1. Do they clean and lube the chain every 500-700 kms or at least max 1k kms ?
                          2. Once they ride in rain/mud/sand, do they clean the chain after reaching the destination ?
                          3. Driving in a higher gear in slow speed damages the chain/sprocket.
                          4. Do they accelate really strong especially in lower gears ?
                          5. Do they use engine braking excessively ?

6K kms is really low but with better maintenance you can definitely improve the longevity of your chain/sprockets.

Riding conditions play a huge factor also. Wet conditions will rust it out. Sand stuck in chain will wear and tear the chain/sprockets very quickly.

Check the mirrors from other bikes like apache or hornet.. If anything is bigger than this then you can buy it. Else the last resort, fabricate it of some sort. I have no idea but If the extension is made of steel then you can fabricate it easily by welding.

RVM is essential like a protective gear no matter city or Highway. Exception may be while off roading :P

Tha.. WTH! Already Rs5k every 4k kms and this looks even worse. Even a skoda and a VW would cost less for maintenence. You should definitely write to them.
