Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Brother.... Please have a word with them... Something doesn't add up here... 6.2K is way too much for a 300 CC bike... If I am not wrong, 6-7k is spent for bikes like the Z800 or the Daytona 650R or other higher capacity bikes.Originally posted by brokenbinil View Post
The bill copy. Sorry it was 2500 general service charge. Its too much nah ...
Please check with them ASAP.Its better to sweat than to bleed...

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
I just had a talk with the SVC manager. Seems that is the rate. Said that the service charges are at par with other brands. But I pointed out that the oil change interval is too early, and that makes hell of a difference. The same oil does over 8k, why change it at 4k. Told him that eventually people wont come back to ur service center due to this, post warranty. He recommended me to talk to someone at dsk. Will be doing so after I get some figures in place. Need all u guys help for the same.Originally posted by Shashank Suresh View PostBrother.... Please have a word with them... Something doesn't add up here... 6.2K is way too much for a 300 CC bike... The 2.5K towards general service is ridiculous. That is I believe dealer charge. Next time you can check with Sunil if he can reduce it.
I was not charged that much. But seems now it has been increased to 1.5K.

Guys I have a confusion.
The business head calls me today and asks me to make the payment. My bike was shipped last week and it is lying in the service center for 7 days. I have taken a loan of 1L and I rest will be paid as down-payment.
The loan is getting processed as we speak and only today I signed the required documents.
He also told me that he wants the cheque as "self" and not in the organization's name. (something fishy
)
Also, he called me a couple of times asking me to give the cheque to him as he has given his personal money to get the bike. Why on earth would someone get a bike for his customer using his money ? (again something fishy
)
I later called the salesperson who was coordinating with me from the beginning and usko batthi diya.
I haven't confirmed on the bike delivery date as well. I have not asked the dealer to get the bike anytime soon but they have already shipped the bike along with a few bikes that are going to be delivered this week.
Do we really need to make the full payment before even deciding on the delivery date ?
Honestly, I am not happy with the incidents that has taken place today.Its better to sweat than to bleed...

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Do not transfer the money before the bike is allocated to you. Make sure the vehicle is allocated to you, do all the PDIs and then make full payment that too along with correct documentation.Originally posted by Shashank Suresh View Post

Definitely something is fishy if he is asking cheque on his own name. If you have any doubts, call up the company directly and talk to them regarding your booking and the delivery.Bhargav.

Yeah no need to make payment in self. I paid by cheque. And online rtgs transfer ... Better to keep things trackable.Originally posted by bhargavkundem View PostDo not transfer the money before the bike is allocated to you. 1. They have allotted the bike to me and it is in the service center.
2. They said that they will carry out the pre checks and they will drive the vehicle for 7kms as a mandatory process.
3. I am not going to transfer any money to him and ill do it to the organization.
4. Will I be able to check the vehicle before paying the money ? Also if I find any scratches or anything that is unpleasant, can I demand for another vehicle ?
5. This is my first bike and it has been a pretty tough time with all these miscommunication.
Nevertheless, I love the TNT 300. I will not give up on her !! ** blush blush **
