Even if you are taking it to any restaurants, make sure you have a close eye on her. I keep it in my office parking lot (Ascendas) at a secluded place, where people hardly notice it. I have been keeping it there for the last 3 months and its safe. So I happily work. But I still do go and check it out like once in 3 hours..a stroll in parking lot

I have PM'd you my contact. Do text me once you have got your bike. Lets catch up somewhere.
Here is a suggestion; keep a bike cover in your office (its what I do). Once you come in, cover it after it cools down.

Sounds like a plan but won't this gain more attention ? A bike parked in office parking lot with a cover on it ?

Malls and theaters may not be safe unless you get a premium parking.
Office - Look for safe parking. Try to park next to walls or pillars. In case someone pushes or loses balance while moving this beast, it will still lean over the wall or pillar on its handle.
Touring: During my recent ride I always looked for a stay with better parking facility like a parking lot or a parking basement. I also carried a bike cover.
If you have individual residence, then superb.
Apartments - Always cover your beast.

Try your best to provide a safe shelter to your love and be at peace. Rest can't be controlled.

PS: Keep a low profile. Enjoy your beast and its grunt on highways.

Nope. No one whats to go through the trouble to remove cover to see the bike. Believe me when I say my bike is a magnet for fiddlers. The Scottoiler unit, the digital dash along with custom made triple clamp, ASV levers, etc draws people like magnet to fiddle around with the switches and settings. Once the cover goes on people don't pay attention to the bike, they look for a easier target for their time pass. Another thing that a cover does well is to deter people from sitting on your bike. It will also prevent people from trying to move your bike so that they can make space for their bike (not that I have this problem as I have dedicated car space in which to park the bike).

When I park in my office, that's my biggest problem...so I park right beside the Guard's post :-) But the worst is when it is parked outside anywhere, people are bound to do stupid stuff. I parked roadside when i stopped for dinner and I had one of my U7 bent and the right side CNC brake lever twisted :-( I'm running stock lever for the front disc.
When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.

Thanks for your points. It perfectly makes sense. I will follow this once I get my bike.

I seriously don't understand why people can't mind their own business. They have all the rights to see or even click pictures. But when they try to push the bike, sit on it and twist the throttle and do all those things, that is when they get on our nerves.

                Thanks for your suggestion Abhimanyu31.

Congrats on your booking Wish you happy and safe miles. If I am not wrong, during Diwali they are launching the 250cc version of TNT i.e TNT 25 or TNT 250 which is white in colour.

I even enquired with the folks in Chennai office and they said that the same.

Please correct me if I am wrong. This is just the info I got during a casual conversation.

Man !! These guys loot in the name of service, consumables, chain cleaning, chain lubrication. I paid close to Rs.3000/- for 2nd service which didn't include oil change, so all they did was a wash, chain clean & lube. For the sake of warranty , you need to feed these buggers.

I'm going to have a talk with them. Need a breakup of the 3000 .... What if I did not want to get something done. Why should I be charged so every 4000km ... So in actuals for 4k km trip I would end up spending 6000 bucks other than fuel.

Why do you need to change oil at every 4000kms ?

Exactly. I checked my used oil before they discarded it. Its still good to go. As far as I remember I used to use the same oil for over 6k in my r15v2 ....

Sorry if I missed earlier. What oil they use ?

Kawasaki recommends Motul 7100 10w40 fully synthetic oil with a change interval of 12000 kms. Khivraj on Kasturba Road recommends at 6000kms which is purely a dealer initiative. You can take a call on changing it or not.
