    Dear friends,

Note: This is bit of OT. Thought this would benefit fellow Benellians. No promotion intended.

It's good to see TNT 300 enjoying such a following, and Benellians enjoying the road trips on beast.

It's very important to have right gear while riding as safety is paramount. I am sure everyone agrees with it.

There is no dearth of sources from where we can procure safety gear and accessories. But, I would like to bring your attention to this one stop shop which I bumped into through a friend.

What impressed me to put it here, is people behind this are avid bikers themselves who have good knowledge about motorcycles and gears. They also provide good feedback on products. Though a product is costly compared to others, they do not hesitate to provide honest feedback which may go against the product and suggest a better alternate which could be of lower price.

I went through this site and thought this would help many of us looking for right gear. Do let me know what are your findings.

    Ride safe.

Look up paint pen or tyre pen on eBay, that's what I used ! It's not as clean/finished as I'd like it to be. Paint spread a little bit.

Hey buddy, thanks a ton for sharing the website.

Just wanted to know if you have changed your sprocket ? How's are your tires ? Are you gonna change them as well as you have clocked 24k kms. If yes, please share the model you are choosing.

            Guys!

            Is this true?

Looks like TNT 400 will bridge the power gap between TNT 25 & TNT 300

            http://www.**********.com/two-wheele...16-013267.html

            Can any one confirm?

            Thanks,

So just to reiterate. The poll I posted above regarding mfg issues has now reached nearly 30 voters and 60%+ voted for YES ! which is a HUGE number.

Are we only 30 users ... ? I am sure many have not voted ... and actual figures will also vary in what one considers a manufacturing defect and what isn't. For example, My starter relay went kaput intermittently. However it was replaced when i raised a concern for the same . Have i included it in manufacturing defect ? No.

Sprocket - Not yet changed - Good to go for at least another 1 or 2K
Tires: Good to go for another 2K

Sprockets- I will get from SVC - cost would be 12.5K
Tires - Considering same set or Michelin Pilot which I get to hear a lot in the whatsapp group

Well yea but I posted a Poll , where i think it was appropriate to do so. and I got a result. I cant be biased on assumptions. I just reiterated what was shown above. . . And we probably wouldnt be having this discussion if the results were otherwise.

The high beam points to the sky as the housing is setup in such a way. Please get it adjusted from the SVC folks. I had to visit the showroom multiple times to get it the way I like it. But here is the thing, the front number plate will surely be a hindrance when you switch to high beam. Hence I have removed the clamp as such. Even after several visits to the service station, the high beam has a "scattered" throw of light. The throw is uneven. But a part of the light falls on the road and not on the sky.

I am planning to install cyclops LED lights. Ill post an update once its complete.

Hi Shanky.. My friend has a TNT 300 so we played with the head lamp housing. Actually if you knew about the adjusting screw which is on the left side(When you sit on the bike) of the headlamp you can play it with it quite a bit for minor adjustment of the beam. There is another screw on the other side but the housing has to be opened. The other screw is for major adjustment while the screw accessible from the outside is for minor adjustment. Try playing with it if you could and you can solve the high beam issue.

Also regarding LED's, go for the 4300k temp rating as they are yellow unless you are fond of white LED/had experienced riding with white colored ones. I can give you contact in Delhi to buy good quality LED if you want.
                        Ride Safe!

                        Cheers,

Michelin Pilot is a good choice. I did see Angel GT, yes GT in Orion Motors. I might get that installed.

For sure man. Let me try adjusting the screws. I hope I get the adjustment as per my requirement.. One thing for sure, the number plate clamp is a hindrance to high beam. No wonder why the bike during the official showcasing of Benelli 300 didnt have it installed.

Please do ping me their number buddy. I love white lights

Michelin PR4 or Pirelli Angel GT (both equivalent competitors) ... best options for the kind of running we do. High Milage and dual compound. Excellent for touring. In India though the Pirelli's would be cheaper now.

I have been looking for good LEDs but never got 4300 K (Sunlight Yellow - Closest to our halogen counterparts). Even for the white ones i got the throw was not enough. Please share your contact details. Any website to see a list of items he sells. I would be interested.

Last week my Oil pressure sensor gave up. Oil started dripping from the place the sensor is connected. As I was near to my FIL's place, kept the bike there for the night. Next day called up the RSA. The bike was picked up in 20 mins. Also the issue was fixed under warranty.

Very close to 24K Binil. Just waiting it out so that at 24K I could give it for 7th service.
