The Fan kicks in at 90/91 ?

Also do u leave the bike in idle when at traffic signals or standing without moving in any Jam ?
I have noticed the temp go up above 92 only in such scenarios.

The CBR 250 radiator fan starts when the engine reaches 92 degrees Celsius. I had assumed a twin cylinder would run hotter.

So this is what is also being sold on Aliexpress.

Aliexpress.com : Buy From year 2016 / New improved Water pump for Benelli BN302 TORNADO TNT300 Stels 300 Keeway RKX 300 Original / BN TNT 300 302 from Reliable pump cream suppliers on Buywin Motor Part Co., Ltd.

This is a new 201 water pump for tnt 300 with a wider shaft diameter. This might make the bike run bit cooler as it'll flow more water/coolant from the system? thus more heat transfer?

In bumper to bumper traffic, fan kicks in at 91 degrees, runs till temperature reaches a maximum of 94 degrees and comes back to 90 degrees.
Mine has touched 95 degrees couple of times in 16 months of ownership and that too in scorching heat of MP and Gujarat where temperatures were around 44 degrees.

I had a White Karizma ZMR 2010 model and 6+ years of riding on the bike. Enjoyed the ride till it lasted. Been two weeks since I had the black TNT 300. Covered a distance of 400KM (50% on freeway & 50% in the city traffic.. commute to office). My experience

Comfortable - The sound, Ride comfort & control (used to have trouble stabilising ZMR on hard breaking)
Not comfortable - Gear (feel it rough, making clunk sound while switching the gear, false neutral). Not sure if I have to live w/ it (didn't see anyone complaining so probable that it gets better as I ride on or after first service)
Trouble - Heat. Once the fan switches on the amount of heat I feel on my thighs is something I just don't like. I used to have same experience on ZMR but being a small engine, heat is not as much

With ZMR I never used to worry about anything between services. Can you suggest what should I take care of between services. Couple of things I noticed while going thru the thread are

                a) Looks like Radiator guard is recommended
                b) Looks like I need to take care of the chain (I'm from Hyderabad... humidity is less but there is lot of dust)

Anything else? I'm not very conversant with mechanics of bikes. So, would appreciate if you can suggest the minimal things I need to take care between services to maintain the bike in good condition. As of now, I didn't cross 5K RPM and speed of 70K

Should asked this question earlier. What is the risk of not having radiator protector? Just trying to understand what needs to be done while I get it
How to use the chain lube/cleaner. Given that there is not centre stand, how can you move the rear tire. Probably silly question but I couldn't find how to do this

You can adjust both pedals. To start with just open the allen bolt holding the round base of the stem. Once you open the bolt you can rotate it, so you can set it to your liking. Did that on mine, worked for me. Do tell me incase you need pictures, will share.
HI!! I would like to adjust my pedals as well. Could you please post photos. I couldn't figure it out. I browsed thru few pages to see if you have posted the photos. But, I couldn't see any

You just spray the lube on rear sprocket then move the bike ahead then spray the lube then move the bike again till you have covered full length of chain. . . I don't own paddock stand.

The reason for radiator guard is that it protects the radiator and it's fins from getting damaged by the small stones pebbles debris thrown back by the front wheel while riding.

Dry type is comparatively costlier and does do the job equally well. The only gripe is, they are stubborn to clean once they hit the rim or other areas, while spraying, they dry real quickly. Not to mention, the rangeela all around wheels and adjacentparts, make sure your rims and swingarm or anything that you can see from your point of spray, COVERED. Aesthetically, they look like ice cream cake on a chain, and in fact they are grease. Once the chain gets heated up, they gradually heat up and gel in with the cribs and crevices of the chain well. Unlike like wet lube, that flings off the chain after the chain heats up, dry type is semi-solid and sits in its place -- love that..

Dust is again a problem, dry type attracts dust, so you may want to clean that thing often, especially on monsoon. On highway, it's a different scene altogether, can easily last more than 800 kays plus from my personal experience on Tribocor.

                              Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                              The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                              THE END
