Well I was riding on Chennai bypass, GST and then went on to Vandalur-Kelambakkam road. Next time I'll PM you if coming that way. I don't consider that rain. 5 minutes showers and then back to 37 degrees. ORR starts outside the Vandalur zoo right?

Benelli TNT 300 - luggage options
Has anyone tried saddle bags on the T3 yet. If yes, models and pictures for the same being used on the bike.
Last evening I tried Cramster, Dirtsack, Viatera and Getoffurass ... None of them fit the bike without covering the rear foot pegs or almost crushing the blinkers.
I am looking at an option which would allow a pillion to sit along with my saddle bags, hence the Claw is out of question.
Don't know where but someone had a Top Box extension done on a T3, i had seen images, don't know here or elsewhere.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Same here, but I am exploring the hard panniers. None available within India but saw few on outside India sites... But they are costing@30k inclusive of transportation. To start off I am going to try out the studds vault box to check how comfortable it would be for the pillion as well as riding with them in traffic.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Yea, the thread slipped into page 2. How did that happen?Originally posted by kanth View PostWoh! guys....3 days and counting...no updates to share??

Anyway, just sharing my thoughts about the branding on the bike. I think it's (Benelli) visibility is pretty poor.
Right side- 300 shows near the grab rail. TNT Tornado on the mini fairing. Tornado TNT doesn't mean anything on this bike. Nice details on the engine-clutch cover frame but only when you look closely "GT Engine since 1911". The Benelli logo on tank is too small in my opinion.
Left side- Same as the right side and you see this name badge kind of a thing which I'm pretty sure gets hidden by your leg when you are riding.
No Benelli logo on the front or back.
Some of the other bikes which immediately come to my mind which have good visibility of the makers name are:
KTM Duke 200 - Huge 'Duke' sticker on the tank
Suzuki Gixxer SF MotoGP version - Do I need to say
Ninja 300 - 'Kawasaki' at the end of the fairing on underbelly cowl.
Yamaha R3 - Neat 'Yamaha' logo on the fairing and even in front on mud guard I suppose
Ducati Scrambler - Has 'Ducati' on the seat at the back. Looks so awesome.
I'll probably remove TNT and put Benelli there... anyway, not touching anything yet.
And I have noticed that because of this lack of visibility the bike gets even more attention. People get curious to know what bike it is

What're your thoughts guys??Last edited by dhawz29; 10-03-2015, 11:57 AM.

Yeah...I too felt the same, the brand name on both the 300 and 600 are very discreet, but I feel you can try adding the Benelli sticker on the either sides of the fuel tank just like the stickering they have done on the Limited Edition TNT 600i, that looks cool and one gets to know what brand it is easily.
Something like this...

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
I agree with lack of visibility of branding is a boon for those who seek attention as many people approach you with curiosity to know more about bike. Benelli sounds pretty odd to many of those ears used to hear Honda, bajaj, Yamaha n ktm. Once u tell them Italian, a look of being mesmerized appears on those faces lighting up your eyes n stretching your jaw line laterallyOriginally posted by dhawz29 View PostYea, the thread slipped into page 2. True. I have a tough time on road shouting out loud "Benelliiiiiiiii" from inside of my helmet to people who are asking me what bike it is, who are riding exactly parallel to me at 40-50 km/hr and who are also inside their respective helmets trying to listen to me!!!Originally posted by experimentalhead View PostI agree with lack of visibility of branding is a boon for those who seek attention as many people approach you with curiosity to know more about bike.
