Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Even i thought that it was rust. It Isn't . The exhaust bend pipes are actually golden in color. But attracts a lots of mud onto it .... probably due to the heat and the mud dries of faster. One day i noticed that using a soft gauze i could scrape of the mud and get back the golden color of the bend pipes. As far as I think I doubt these pipes would rust.Originally posted by Gollum View PostThe exhaust pipes coming out of the engine really needs some kind of anti-rust coating. Wont you agree?
I would have probably tried to get it Nickel coated. Would be expensive but at least I would have the shiny

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
That's a lot of damage for a fall at that speed. How did the exhaust get damaged ?Originally posted by cfsjaved View PostAnytime bro
Yes that's the costliest of all
He was at only 30 KM/h when a cyclist came in front of him. He could not see him as there was an auto beside him. He is yet to get the frame sliders. Hopefully dealer gets it soon.
Just noticed the bill is from Bangalore. Who does the bike belong to ? I might know him. Hence asking .
Update - Yes I know him. He is in the Benelli BLR Whatsapp group.
The exhaust was replaced as there were scratches after he skidded on gravel while avoiding the cyclist ... no damages other than that ...Last edited by brokenbinil; 09-10-2015, 09:28 PM.

How about adding the Current Spare cost on first page of this thread so all the owner and prospect owners can also have an idea about the cost of the spare parts"Riding By Passion, Wandering By Choice !!" - IceAgeOnWheels

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
I saw a 300 which was unregistered sitting for repairs graphite black color today some guy dropped it while transporting it to the workshopOriginally posted by TheArcher84 View PostWhen I had been to the service centre to take delivery of my bike, a 600i had come for accident repair. Man, you should have seen the state of that. Headlight assembly gone to pieces totally, left side engine casing has the biggest hole and front fork bend with a crack on left side swing arm'(due to heavy impact). Funny thing about that bike was, it wasnt even registered, so no insurance I guess. That bloody f****ing idiot has driven this bike at 160 kmph and tried to negotiate a turn and went and hit the barricade.
Poor thing to these bikes who doesnt value it at all.

Right, just scratches but no major damage. By the way I spoke to him yesterday and he told me how famous his crash story has become in the WhatsApp groupOriginally posted by brokenbinil View PostThat's a lot of damage for a fall at that speed. How did the exhaust get damaged ?

Resqtech inflator is super small n comfortable to carry. Was available on amazon.Originally posted by experimentalhead View PostCan anyone suggest where to get a good puncture kit including all the tools and also an air inflator, preferably manual foot pump or a simple air inflator which does not affect the battery

Puncture kits should be available at automobile stores on JC road. Kit comes with necessary tools. Good to buy pliers.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
There is nothing much to fiddle. Just a positive & negative wire connects directly to battery.Originally posted by experimentalhead View PostThanks Shrini...I guess I had seen this in one of your posts..not sure...I tender apologies for a silly question I am gonna ask..can you please suggest a manual inflator as I don't want to fiddle with electricals of bike
Sorry I haven't explored manual inflator. You will get foot pumps but not sure on how small n portable they are. You can check at Decathlon too, I'm sure they will have something.
