My horn had stopped working 2 weeks ago and i got it replaced recently. From that day onwards it still has been creating problems. I visited the showroom today and it looks like the horn assembly has gone kaput.

Has anyone faced the same issue ?

Now at 21000 Km I have been advised by service center to change the sprockets. Yet to change though. Service center are quoting around 13 to 14K. Trying to source from Thailand which would cost around 6k
Relay switch and horn have been changed under warranty for known issues.

              okay thanks for the reply

My horn stopped working and is just been 5 months. I hope the replacement will work fine.

Sprockets are tab expensive here... Importing from Thailand will work out to be economical.

Guys, I have checked the prices in AliExpress. Yes, no doubt its priced well below what we are getting it for in India, BUT .... take a look at the delivery charges. The below image will give you the details of prices and the lowest delivery charges (converted from USD as per today's rate).

With the delivery cost it is almost as much as we are paying in India. Also the customs will be added to this. So I guess it wont make much difference to procure the Chain Sprocket from AliExpress. Thailand may be an option but there is a question on the genuineness of the product.

                      2. I know that the choice of the color of the bike is always a personal opinion. But still... I would like to know which one looks better in flesh? The white or the black? Because the showroom had only the test ride black model. I wanna know if white is more appealing or the black. If anyone has an idea on this then please suggest. Undoubtedly my mind is completely inclined towards the black. Red being out of the question.
A: If you are looking for stealthy ride and blend in traffic without much having answering bystanders questions black is the way. White looks better than black though its also a attention grabber.

                      4. The showroom guys said that there will be a waiting period of 30 days for the bike. Is this not a bit too much?
A: This is normal. Even kawasaki and other brands have more waiting period than benelli, leaving ktm aside.

Looking forward to hear from my seniors here and I can't express how excited I am to own this Babe.

But the showroom quoted a whooping 20k more for the same bike at ₹3,72,000. Is this price hike genuine? If yes, please suggest as to how can I convince myself the same.
The extra amount you see here are the handling charges. Its included as a norm across all brand which import bikes in CBU or CKD models. You can ask the dealership to give a breakup of costs. They have a sheet which shows the breakup for more clarity.

Black if you want to be inconspicuous. White looks the best, but is more maintainance and looks bigger and attracts more attention.
Visit the service center once, you can ask the dealership to check if they have a white bike there which you can check.

When I tried to reach the horn while riding, I was actually triggering the indicators, lol. Clearly the 25 has way better feeling switches than the 300. And so I was a bit turned off by this. I know this is a really silly matter to be concerned with, but since I'm paying so much, I wondered if I could pay a little more and replace those switches?
It takes a little while to get used to the switch gear. Its a tad smaller than usual. But it is very functional and works well. No need to change it.

Waiting period has reduced now. It was 45 days in between. I got mine in the first lot. Around 30 days.

Hey thanks for responding to my queries Binil I'm feeling more confident about the bike now. And hence I booked the black one today! And here begins the excitement filled and highly impatient waiting period. Hehe.

I feel a bit skeptical about those folks at the showroom... Its like they just want to get a sale done and are least bothered about us once they got our money in their hands. All hopes on the almighty though. Nonetheless... Great to be here among all you experienced bikers and the B300 owners

                          Cheers.

Hey guys! To anyone who is reading this and is from Bangalore...

                            1. Please suggest, which of the following brand provides a good protective helmet and a VFM product: MT / LS2 / KYT / any other?

                            2. Where in the Bangalore city can I find the one that you suggested?

                            My requirement for the helmet:
                            1. Look of the helmet should gel well with the black Benelli 300.
                            2. Minimal wind whistling at high speeds.
                            3. I'm already over my budget for the bike. So please mention the cost if you have an idea.

                            Thanks

My best bet here would be to go for MT as I believe its VFM product and I am also on the look for the same, you can check the prices on their website itself, I believe they range from 4750 to 6250/-, and also one shop I know near to my place is on Lalbagh Road called Moto-101 opposite to MTR Hotel, and 2 more the address of which you could get it from the website below.
