Hi I am new to this thread so asking so many questions seems childish but just want to know is it really worth to go for the ixil exhaust. If yes which one is the best sounding one

While riding home on, I found the downshifts quite hard unlike the test ride bike. Is this expected behaviour in the brand new B300?

It takes time for the near gear teeth to set in. Should be ok with few 100 kms of riding.

IMO, that is completely up to the user. IXIL always sounds good. But is it worth that 24K, I am not sure about the performance benefits you get.

I'm riding the bike under 5k rpm and higher gears but it is getting heated up pretty darn quickly!!! to like 90 degrees C. I'm worried that I maybe riding the bike wrongly. Can someone guide me? This is my first time ever running-in a bike.

With this kind of wet weather your engine should not be getting hot at all unless you are riding in bumper to bumper trafffic. Check the coolant and oil levels.

90 degrees is normal running temperature for the T3. Nothing to worry till it goes above 95 ... It's normal for such figures in stop go traffic. It will start dropping as soon as the road clears out and you pick speed. The radiator fan kicks in aroun 89-91 degrees. And if u are really worried, there is also a failsafe with kicks in at 112 degrees it will shut off the engine. So don't think too much just ride my friend .

Congrats on ur new bike by the way.

Headlight has two adjustments - one for high and one for low. It can be accessed through the back panel of the headlight. u need to insert a medium length + screwdriver from the left side. It will be covered by the wiring harness so you need to find your way through them. I will try and send you some pics later.

IXIL - is loud. too loud for my taste and will attract cop and rto attention. apart from legal trouble, its irritating for prolonged use, and quite a few people who bought it in bangalore have sold off the IXILs they had. Recommend you to ride (not just in idle) one bike with the IXIL for some kilometers and decide.
                  i don't have a carbon footprint, i ride everywhere !

What ever running-in you are doing is fine. Try to vary the speeds under 5 or 5.5k rpm. Dont stay in the same RPM for a long, try to vary, give it some load in lower gears, dont raise it too much as well. If possible, try running it in a highway, it will be less stressful on the engine. Doing this work inside city is a tedious job as you would hardly get free space to hit the top gear in that RPM range.

Stick to one fuel and one bunk for a while unless absolutely necessary.

Nonetheless, I hope this could be useful to not only potential buyers but also others who are curios to know more about this bike, which I’m sure will be unique in the current crop of entry level sports bikes.

My first memory of a bike is a ride with my late father, beloved sister and myself on the tank of a green Suzuki and this image is something that I will cherish for long not just to remember my father and the ride I had with him everyday when I was young but also to recollect the joy of riding.

Once my family upgraded to a nice little Maruti Omni during my high school days, my motorcycle riding experiences shortened considerably and working in the insurance sector, my father never let me risk my life with a motorcycle till I reached 25 years. It was hard for me growing up with other kids who had fancy TVS Victors, Pulsars, or Karizmas (yes TVS Victor was fancy at that time).

                              Nonetheless, the desire for motorcycling
