    I am facing these issues

    1. Engines heats up very fast and very quickly. A 3-5km stroll in the city and my engine temperature soars up
    2. I am feeling a lack of throttle response. The pickup and and overall power seems to have dropped significantly. I have to open the throttle really wide to feel some power.
    3. Drop in mileage.

Service centre told me that these things are happening because I have burnt my clutch plates and are quoting me 3.5k cost to change them

My bike has completed 19k kms, and it hasn't been ridden rough for the most part.
Looks like the bike is running either too lean or too rich. Before Changing the clutch plates first change the carburettor setting from some other mechanic or by yourself if you have some knowledge. Even youtube videos could help you in this. After that if you still have problems then change the clutch plates. But i think 3.5k is expensive. I think it is in the range of 2 - 2.5k. Please also check with other ASC.

But i think changing the settings should solve your problem. ASC guys just fool people for making money.

If not getting Timsun locally, try getting it online. Don't go with cheap ones. Pirelli sports demon is also available on Amazon yet they are giving it cheap too. Mind it that tyre is 2015 manufactured.

Pirelli has Angel City in 130/70/17 & Sports Demon. Rest of Pirelli series are too expensive to consider (atleast for me).

There is another brand Timsun Tyres & I heard all the good about them. Might wanna consider them too.

    Thanka
Even if it is touring u want masseters are excellent pick & they are better than remora. Masseters are almost as good as Pirellis (available earlier as options).

Agreed that the matte colour has stopped in production but this is not the way you treat customers... need support and suggestions as what to do now. :/
U should write to TVS about it, they have contact details on website. Meanwhile looking locally wouldn't hurt as I have found genuine things for almost half the price outside SVC.
For brake lines, seek for steel braided ones as they are an improvement over anything.

    Thanks
