    Hello,

My apache 200 bumps a lot on uneven road or near speed breakers. I even feel like its floating in air. I loose balance because of this. I checked with SVC. Response is there is no problem in the bike (like fork/suspension/tire). What could be the issue? I even changed fork oil once. Do anyone else facing similar issue?

My bike is 1 yr old and 16000 Kms distance covered. Rear tyre threads are half gone.

In the ownership thread 'RTR 160/Fi' I have shared in detail my bad experience with old Delphi Fuel injector which failed twice. The second time, I couldn't get replacement ECU and had to convert my bike to Carburettor at 50000kms.

That's the reason I opted for Carburettor RTR200 for reliability. But TVS Technicians assure me that unlike the old Delphi Fuel injector in old160 Fi, the RTR200 Fi is a Bosch closed loop FI which is very reliable.

What is your experience with your fuel injected RTR200? How many kilometres have you ridden so far and what were the issues you faced in fuel injection?
    Kindly help.
I have a carburetted rtr 200 4v bs4 and a fuel injected big bike. And I can tell you that if it's really a Bosh system then you can buy it with your eyes closed. Though I'm only judging by the fuel delivery hardware.

Is this an issue with the air filter or engine oil? I have only completed 3500 kms so far with 2 services. Oil was changed only on the 1st service. The service guy said that the oil can be changed on the 3rd service since it can last until I do 4500 kms.

I don't see any indication for service on my console either.

What could be the issue? Can you pl point me in the right direction?

Might be due to low quality fuel from petrol pump. Try filling in another fuel pump and check again.

If you are from Bengaluru try Bridgestone TVS near Rajajinagar..they had stock when I visited last time(costs around 45rs for each)... I also replaced both bleeder valves for calipers..Bajaj and other brand won't fit as thread length of bleeder valve is bit longer on RTR's.

You’ll get that bleeder valve as a separate part

You can try Suzuki for the 8mm. Last time when I approached for that, it wasn’t readily available part and asked me to wait About 20 days for my gs150r.

Hello guys.. Anyone here from Mumbai central region - Mulund, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Powai side who can help me tune my carb perfectly or recommend a good mechanic for Apache 200? I was watching some YouTube videos and I think I've messed it up. No matter what I try, I'm unable to get a perfect idle rpm/ engine rhythm.
I don't want to take it to ASC as they are useless.
