I do ride in heavy traffic daily. Worst traffic conditions, where the top speed some days i can go is 30kmph. Could it be because i have to constantly change gears between 1&2 or 3 in some rare cases? If so, a scooter would be more suitable for me. -

I've seen this before on Apache rtr 180. Though this problem is rare and yours is the only 200 4v I've heard of that has it, this isn't so much manufacturing defect as total bad luck. Basically the part that fits there came off it's seating and because of the loose contact between the two parts it got shaved like that. In any case your bike is past warranty for sure so they're definitely not gonna entertain any of your claims but go ahead and try.Originally posted by badari259 View PostLeave a comment:

Hello everyone,
I have been riding my Apache RTR 200 4v (2017 BS3) for around 2 years 8 months. I have covered around 31000 km and i have gone through a lot of problems with my bike.
Two days ago i found out that my bike's G B Shaft (that's what the service center guy told me) is worn out, and has to be replaced. It costed me around 5K ₹. Is it possible for it to be a wear out issue for such a short time? I mean i have seen people ride bikes for years together and cover 50K+ kms.
I also had the cluch plates and hub replaced recently. Is this a manufacturing defect or is this my bad luck?

TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Ownership Experience
Pulsar 200f’s brake lines can be fitted in RTR200, If you are ready to skip the brake hose holding clamp under your head lamp assembly. There won’t be any problem for you if you skip that holder.Originally posted by Dovahkiin View PostHi All

I took the bike in again before the new switch assembly came because it had become really inconvenient lately to start it. Turns out there was some miscommunication; the switch assembly on the bike was not a temporary replacement but in fact the old faulty one that they tried fixing with their tools. This time however I persuaded them to actually change the switch assembly(was a used switch assembly they had lying around) and the issue seems to have been resolved.
