i use this bike in farm ,no roads .still nothing vibrates . must say its a very solid built bike .
i have installed LED bulbs in headlights. the improvement is great over stock . try it .
I don't really use the SR anymore, the mileage is horrible and the suspension is shit for anything other than smooth new roads. But my little brother does use it and so does my little sister. They both complain of poor visibility at night and the vibrating headlights. I guess I'll open it up and see if I can add some padding and eliminate it.

Ps: I opened the top plastics of the bike to change the brake lever, but guess what, the accelerator cable blocks the brake lever bolt from coming out! Great design Aprilia!

Now just to remove the lever I'll have to dismantle the top half of the bloody thing! Italians I tell ya.....

I am a new owner at 150km and already loving this scooter. I am having an issue and that is I am sometimes hearing a high pitch continuous whistle sound from the front wheel. The sound isn't always there only sometimes when I drive at night. I don't know if its the brakes. Do you guys experienced anything similar or suggest what should I check for?

So 30K Kms done in 3 years and my observations/issues are

* Post 20K Kms, bike is almost vibe free even while idling (though I do change oil at every 2k Kms)
* No change in power output even after three years (My daily run since last year is is 40 Kms through peak traffic on weekdays and weekend trips of 150-200 Kms)
* Fuel efficiency 34-37kmpl
* Brake feel and feedback is good (Though had to change the front brake master cylinder and the entire plumbing)
* Have not found any pocket friendly solution for the poor headlights. Only option is to go projector+ HID setup
* No solution to suspension stiffness even after changing the rear to the new adjustable one and running front forks on 5W Liqui Molly fork oil
* Found Pirelli Angel Scooter to be the best tyres I have put on. I tried MRF and Timson.
* Panels have started to vibrate. Planning to get packing done with foam tape
* Spares are not cheap. They arent expensive either.

Overall I really enjoy the ownership and riding experience.

Check the speedometer cable fitment. Also see if there is enough grease/lubrication on the front wheel bearing.

The durability of SR is at least two times longer than round roller.
FYI.
If you use “877514 roller variator piaggio aprilia SRV 850ie ” or “ picture of GP800 roller 877514 “ as keyword to search in INTERNET, you’ll find Aprilia SRV850 and Gilera GP800 are using Dr.Pulley SR Sliding Roller as genuine part.

Aprilia SR150 is specially for India so it’s not easy to know the exact spec of weight roller. If any member of this Ownership Thread “Aprilia SR 150 Owners Reviews and Experiences” knows the SPEC (size and weight) of stock roller and will post the SPEC in the THREAD.
Dr.Pulley will send free compatible sliding roller for SR150 to members of this Ownership Thread when you visit 2020 Auto Expo in Dehli on Feb.08 14:00 to 16:00 and having image showing that you’re member and had posted before. (please note the quantity will be limited for 50 sets, Dr.Pulley booth no. is HALL 4A ,FF, no.316 )

From what the service center mechanic has told me and only knows, its a 12gm roller. Im not sure about this.

Sebian2009 do you have Facebook? The dimensions for SR150 rollers are 21x15mm and for the SR125 it is 20x15mm

19gms! No ways man, that's too heavy. The Malossi Multivar 2000 Variator kit for the Indian SR150 alone have 11.5gms rollers.

Hello Guys, Karan here from Goa, i own a 2016 Aprilia SR150 (one of the first in Goa), i have been a lurker of this forum for past 3 years now , learnt a lot from the forum. I own a 2018 Dominar too, the SR is my daily ride. After riding her for 3 years the stock performance just didn't cut it, hence i tweaked my SR's engine with a BMC Filter, NGK iridium plug, Splitfire spark cable, Barrel full exhaust system and oversized fuel jet. Next performance upgrade is the Malossi Multivar 2000 variator kit which i shall be installing shortly. Anyways cheers guys!

Also how would the reduced weight on the rollers affect the performance of the scooter?

I am not really sure if the filter would work on the SR125 cuz it's specified only for the SR150.

Guys I have been facing a problem with my aprilia sr 150. On accelerating from certain speeds it is lagging (like missing problem). It usually happens when the scooty is decelerating and I suddenly accelerate to gain speed and the scooty feels like it's missing or lagging for a split second. A solution would be helpful. I feel like it has something to do with the cvt.

Completed closed to 12000 Kms(11850 Kms to be precise)with my Aprilia SR150 in 1 year 9 months and 14 days.Since last few days,I've been facing problem with the battery issue which made me to do kick start the vehicle and even lights and horn are also not working. But,in March,I went on a pothole and suddenly, horn stopped working and when I tried to start the scoot, even the self start stopped working. After few days,I've discovered it and replaced the fuse 10A,which had blown out and had to replace it at a local mechanic for Rs.30 and it started working well after that. But now,the same problem started again as I've stopped taking it out due to lockdown and I had to put the middle stand and kickstart the vehicle, which made me more frustating.I got the vehicle last serviced in Feb end when the odo was around 11000 Kms.

And,few months ago,I got the LED bulbs changed to halogens as LED's had been conked off and had met with a minor accident which resulted in damage of brake lever, which I got it changed during last service and got the German type number plate for rear from Orbiz for Rs.350 after the service and got a number plate frame from the dealer for Rs.200 and got the number plate along with frame installed at service center.Total bill I paid for last service was Rs.1438,which included oil change, number plate frame, left RVM(which got broken in minor accident),left brake lever etc.

Apart from that,I'm happy with my SR150 and its gonna complete 2 years in July and planning to get a bike for myself although I dont know how to ride a geared bike yet even after completing 21 years of age in Aug 2019.
