re: Aprilia SR 150 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Same thing happened when I posted my Duke 390 Review.Originally posted by rider60 View PostI was under the impression I would get my own separate thread for my Ownership review of my scooter!, like in Teambhp and other forums, why is review pasted in the same thread as another!?
Very true.At the least some one please, correct the thread title to "Aprilia SR 150 Ownership reviews of all members". The title is very MIS-LEADING!. This isnt one person's ownership review nor is the scooter meant for just track days alone!!!
Expected from Quadros. There is a reason why they lost the Renault dealership.Originally posted by hatebreeder View PostAprilia Goa has not bothered supplying anything with the bike. So far, no mats and no side stands.
I remember this happening when the Kawasaki Eliminator was launched. A friend had brought one from Pune (was not available in Goa) and lent it to me for a day. At least 10 people stopped me and asked the mileage. You should have seen the expression on their faces when I told the 80-85 kmpl.Lots of people honk behind you, chase you down, and then ask about the mileage. Why? Who would one buy a performance scooter for it's mileage?
A girl who used to work at my friends shop had a TVS Scooty. She upgraded to a Honda Dio. When I asked her how the bike was, the first thing she said was "You can't even carry a cylinder on it". Looks like the default method of carrying cylinders in Goa is on a gearless scooter. This is not a goods carrier scooter. Like my friend said "not a scooter to get your cylinder." He makes sense. It isnt. Although you can put one small bag of tomatoes on the hook.
I guess you are referring to the guys on Duke 200's. Have seen plenty of them near Chowgule college. They seem to be baffled why my Duke 125 (they can't differentiate between the 200 & 390) sounds different from theirs.College kids get complex (Especially those with weird hairdo, shades, wear polka dot shirts, and their bikes have no mirrors), they will cut you off and ride fast past you.
Enjoy your bike. Let's meet sometime.Overall, I'm happy. It's a good little scooter for small city runs. One of those get on, start and go machines. Happy with my decision to pick that up.
Where are these dealers located?Originally posted by fernsruben View Post.... KV... Veljee
Worst dealer. Sadly he is also the dealer for Fiat, Suzuki 2 wheelers, Mahindra 2 Wheelers, Yamaha and of course Vespa/Aprilla. At least for Suzuki and Vespa/Aprilla you have a choice of other dealers but he seems to have some pull in RTO and they won't let you register the bikes in Margao if not purchased from him.Originally posted by hatebreeder View PostQuadros Margao.

Got it serviced yesterday. They got side stands in stock. I was called last week to get my side stand. Got it fitted yesterday during service.Originally posted by P3T3R View PostExpected from Quadros. There is a reason why they lost the Renault dealership.

I got asked about the mileage yesterday at the petrol station while filling up the bike. No one seems to believe someone can not care about the mileage.
Yeah the cylinder bit is the equivalent of Maruti's "Kitna deti hai."
No the Duke200 owners are the dio and activa owners who are now over 18 years.
Thanks! Yeah let us.
Arguably. I don't expect them to treat my bike like thats the only bike they have to service in their lifetime. But if I tell them a specific issue and they fix it, I'm happy. So far, I have not been disappointed. So, no complains.

re: Aprilia SR 150 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi Guys,
My wife gifted me this wonderful bike. I had never driven any bike before So i have no idea how should I compare it with others but I just love the way bike runs. Smooth as anything. Picksup speed anytime I ask, reach 60 or 80 in no time. Looks I get for it are innumerable, but I am little embarrassed to reply milage question.
Recently I did some 150km in a day and I can't tell you what happened to my bottom. It pains like anything, may be I am not used to drive long drives. But bike obay you on any condition, breaking system is good. I was trapped in Alandi pune with lots of crowd walking, so I have to manage some 3 odd km in it. But bike's breaks are good with pickup with wonderful capabilities. And it just said no to give up even after travelling continuous for many km, as if it was asking me to bring it on. I am totally in love with it.
On my way back I was riding from left side of truck and one dio came from front of truck and had 90degree collision, dio had some breakage of front panel and front tyre protection. SR 150 was totally cool, plastic material used is much better when compared to likes of dio (no offense to anyone).
I will be riding more of km with some precautions and some better care with on bottoms.

Yes 3k will get you a decent helmet. Get one from reputed brands outside the dealership.Originally posted by rahul.martial View PostCan someone please guide me about fullfaced helmet which I can carry below seat space.
Is there such helmet available? The one Aprilia branded they are selling at showroom at 3k goes in seat apace.
Kranos helmets (S and M sizes) fit inside the seat space of a Yamaha Ray ZR, so you may want to check that as well.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

I may sound little stupid here.

If anyone is aware please enlight me.

You could get it for 83-85k of you are willing to wait for 3 months provided Aprilia doesn't announce a price hike. All the extra RTO cost charged by dealer will be waived off once new showrooms come up.
Scoots are currently delivered under Patna showroom hence you pay taxes in both Patna and in West Bengal.. The trade license of Speed Auto as well will be reviewed by then.. So they won't have to sell Scoot from Patna in 2 3 months time.
Thanks for the info....they are asking 91823 and delivery will be in Feb 2017. they are supposed to open a new showroom near Lindon St PO in CIT road. I should wait till then.
They didn't told anything about how many free service or warranty ? Can you share anything on that.
And also how is mileage and long drive (>100 KMs) comfort.

Mileage for me 30km/l (I just started riding bikes) , you can go up to 35 as I read from other people's posts.
I have done one >100km trip, bike runs like breze without any issue, engine sounds little odd sometimes but nothing to worry.
I wont say same for seat comfort, my tailbone is still paining, but it was my first long ride, may be people here can comment better.

The Aprilia branded one is a Steelbird Air. You could go for a Vega too. Their cliff helmets are super light and fit in the boot.Originally posted by rahul.martial View PostCan someone please guide me about fullfaced helmet which I can carry below seat space.
