I was simply refering to the "indication", that there isn't any.
Most bikes usually have a little more capacity than stated in the manual. And due to our or the fuel pump attendant's enthu, a 'full' tank essentially means 'fill it till it spills over and you reach a round figure on the price' . Some manufacturer's specifically mention to not fill beyond a certain point (usually just below the 'neck' in the tank) . So taking in to account these factors a full tank usually holds a little more fuel than mentioned in the manual.
The 'reserve' is just used as a guideline/reference on these scooters and it usually corresponds to the 'red' area on the fuel gauge (since these scoots do not have a manual petcock with a on-res-off knob)

If you want to calculate fuel economy, the better way to do it is by the tankful-to-tankful method (this eliminates guessing capacity and gives a real time figure).
Fill up tank - note odo reading (A)
Ride for a few km (say 100km), now go fill up the tank again . Note the odo reading (B) and the amount of fuel that goes in (C)
    Your FE will be (B-A)/C

Here's how my mileage figures look like.. involves a daily sprint of 100+ speedo indicated, 60% speeds are above 60. Less traffic scenario.

Do anyone faced tail bone pain on sr150?
I am wondering whether my tailbone pain is beacuse of some other issue or sr150 riding position as seat is very tough though and we feel bumps anyhow on it.
Please let me know if something can help me.

Scooters' rear suspensions are usually almost on the harder side. If you haven't experienced back pain before after riding a scooter or a motorcycle and if this is the first symptoms of pain, I'd recommend you to either try other scooters and see where you fall. I have personally known many people who have herniated discs, compression after riding in bad roads and a hard suspension adds to the woes.

        Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

        THE END

Or the scooter... 🙄
          Thank you for reply guys,

Actually I have never tried any motorcycle or scooter before SR150 is the first one on which I learned to ride and using it for my daily commute to office now (10km one way, mostly nice road). Pain is not that great and doing little stretches it subdues. May be I am riding wrongly.
It all started on my one 100km+ ride on one day i was tired and didnt realise tailbone specifically, but next day onwords I realised the little residual pain.
What I am thinking is to set up monoshocks to little softer side if possible otherwise I will move to other springs. I have also heard of changing seat for same purpose.

          Suggestions are welcome.

You could replace the rear shocks to adjustable aftermarket ones... The front ones too... But that would be extra expenditure... You could get yourself a strap on gel cushion specially for bike seats. Would drastically reduce the effect.

Even so speaking... Posture... Keep ur arms inwards with ur elbows closer to ur body. Relax your shoulders... Don't slouch neither sit stiff and tall. And don't plant ur feet on the foot-board... Lightly place them. Wear cycling gloves with gel pads... Minor solutions.. But can surely benefit in the long run.

            PS... Avoid potholes 😄....
Ride responsibly. You only have one life!

Bike fuel gauge shows 1 as full and 0 as empty and 6 divisions in between,
Since we have 6.6l as capacity of fuel tank, can I assume 1.1l as one part of the division.
I am trying to find fuel remaining in tank from meter reading.

Why assume, when you can calculate FE accurately (tankful-tankful method as i explained earlier)
If you want to know the true full capacity of the tank, then drain the tank completely and fill it up before you do the FE calculation.. that way you will get the true full capacity, the FE and the fuel remaining (by doing a bit of basic math)

                  Tankful-tankful is good idea.

Those complaining about the stiff suspension should really ride a current gen Dio, When i rode the SR150 i felt really comfortable and i had no problems whatsoever when i went through potholes!

First few hundred kms on my sr150 has been hell. The stiff ride has been nothing short of bone jarring. I guess this kind of ride quality is good enough to grind aged bones into talcum powder.
Good news is that after roughly 2k kms on the odo, the front suspensions have loosened to a great extent. Now the suspension travel has increased greatly and I can pump the front end completely while standing stationary. Ride quality is getting more plush with time.
I might consider changing the fork oil to make the suspension more plush.

Few things I've noticed about this vehicle -

                      - the gearbox is letting the engine down. Gearbox is not as efficient as Honda or suzuki in terms of putting the power on the road.
                      - gearbox feels lethargic while trying to get off the line. Engine keeps revving while the gearbox isn't able to convert the power and put it on the road. My gen1 access leaves the sr150 to dust from 0-60. Gearbox works perfectly fine at higher speeds.
                      - low fuel efficiency. I get anything between 30-35kmpl.
                      - the engine will never sound refined as a honda or suzuki cuz of its 3 valve head.
                      - the engine will never start properly without giving it some throttle. The nature of the engine is too crude. If you start it without giving throttle, it'll immediately die out after 3-4 strokes.

Have done about 600km. I travel on bad roads and it was getting really painful. Reduced the air pressure to 24 and 26psi with Nitrogen. Ride is much better. There is a drag but it is worth trading it for smoother ride. Have had the problem of the engine shutting down in the mornings. I increased the idling and has solved this issue.. especially since it was getting risky when you have to nearly stop and accelerate, the engine just stops.

I seemed to have an issue with the fuel gauge. apparently the fuel pump stops working when it reaches the reserve levels. I filled the petrol to tankful to check on the reserve level and i was able to fill only 3.5 lts!!! that is a average of 150kms between refills.

I wonder if anyone else is facing the same issue..

I never had any issue with engine stop as you have said in my nearly 800km ride,

I guess your fuel gauge needs calibration. For me when gauge touched E, i refilled it, I was able to fill 5ltr. And since 6.6 is capacity, I guess 1.6 is reserve for me. But I didnt wait till scooter stops due to Empty tank.

Also get the carburetor tuned for AFR. The scoot doesn't have a fuel pump.
