This happened to my bike rims on very few days of purchase.. It is because the diamond cut aluminium part got corroded by the soap water during water wash..
I don't think Bajaj will replace this under warranty..
Anyway check with the Service Center

Bro i couldn't find any solution for this....the only thing i am doing is tightening the chain once ot gets loosened.. thats the only way i found to get rid of the sound.... I think it is happening because of our driving ,the svc guy told me. Its like, if we go in high speeds and suddenly dips the throttle, it will harm the chain it seems. And causes forming stif point and a lose point in our chain. The chain will not be constant. Then it cannot be tightened after a point.. thats what .. and btw how is the rolon brass x ring chain bro?

Do I have to wait for the next update? Or should I make any tweaks in the throttle body?

Hello Senthil sir, I think it's better to get hold of another ASC who will help downgrade the firmware than make tweaks to the throttle body. In my case, I am not sure if the throttle body was the culprit.

The acceleration on 118 was smooth as butter and I wish I could still run that version but severely limited me crossing 90 km/hr on the highway.

I'd left for Nasik from Thane, and on the highway, I was doing a pretty conservative 80km/hr to keep up with a friend on his Avenger 220. The air had a thick layer of fog so visibility was an issue. As soon as the fog cleared, I tried going upwards of 90 km/hr. This is where the bike started jerking violently. The throttle response was gone and the bike was resisting going above 90. It was as if the fuel supply was cut off and the throttle was closed no matter what I did.

I missed out on doing a 100 km/hr speeds that the bike can comfortably pull off otherwise on the beautiful tarmac. I was scared as hell but in the back of my mind, I knew the ECU flash was the culprit. Didn't find an svc in Nasik, nor a dealer and knowing the ECU updates aren't possible on a Saturday since they request for the HEX from Pune, I didn't bother on visiting the service center. Kept doing an 80-89 km/hr, being very careful of not going past 91.

Nasik Pune highway is one heck of a road and I was very disappointed in myself about not have had flashed 117 files. Was pretty much restricted to 89-90, 95 at best and then the violent throttle lag/cut off kept happening. This went on till Mahabaleshwar. Took the bike to Kolhapur on a Tuesday and got the 117 ECU files flashed. The service center guy first blamed low fuel but then acknowledged the ECU to be the culprit.

In any case, the bike is solid, very happy with the product, save the minor niggles that are there. I'd also opened the tank cover and added padding to reduce the tank vibrations. Got a very decent fuel economy of 32 km/hr almost every time, loved how the bike handled in the rain at Kolhapur. I do regret not having tested the ECU flash properly as I'd flashed 118 almost a week prior to my trip. If I'd rolled back to 117, I'd have had a different experience altogether.

Hi, I'd have filed a complaint if I had some time in hand but battery warranty as per user manual was almost over so I didn't bother calling customer care. Also, both bajaj svc manager and amaron guy just wouldn't listen and bajaj svc was more interested in selling me a new battery. That day I said that I'll come later for new battery and two days later I picked it from another store, call'd the manager and told him that I purchased it from elsewhere and got discount too [emoji23]

The manager even clicked a pic from the user manual and sent it to his contact in Amaron but they kept on giving lame excuses like the Battery MFR in 2018 and that calculation is done differently etc.

Now, I was in no mood to drag this matter further

Now, I was in no mood to drag this matter further bcoz my battery gone kaput on 14th August and warranty was valid till 15th August. I knew this matter won't get resolved in a day and later they will say that "Sir, warranty is over we could have helped you if you had come sooner". I asked the manager for a new Amaron Battery for which he quoted Rs. 2,100 and he wasn't giving any discount in exchange of my existing battery, I mean like Seriously?

So, I went to my nearest Exide Dealer and bought this Xplore XLTZ9 Which I got for Rs.1,800 in exchange of my Amaron. As expected, after installation my Dominar roared back to life in a single click [emoji846]

It completely depends on your SVC, Mine also had an issue and it was 1 month past 18 months when i faced issue. I went to SVC to get it checked if i need a new battery or i need to charge it and everything would be fine later. The service engg told me they were busy and to drop vehicle and come tomorrow, Later the next day he informed me it needs replacement and they informed me it was already done under warranty , I was confused but didnt say anything but left with my bike and new battery, with small service charge paid

Today morning when I switched ON my bike I saw that the speedometer, and LEDs above the tank fuel filler lid starts blinking and speedometer went blank. I suspected dead battery so took it out and gave it to a battery charging shop. He said that he will close his shop soon so take it in an hour. I am not sure how long he charged the battery but when I went to collect, the battery was disconnected and kept on a rack. I brought it home and after connecting when I turned on the ignition key I saw some code sort of message on speedometer everything lights up and I heard a very slow Fuel Injector noise. Upon hitting the starter I hear Tak-Tak noise from area under pillion seat and sometimes speedometer, leds fluctuate and go dim. I still feel that battery needs more charging so basically how many hours do I need to charge the battery?

For cone set , it is usually required post 15k kms so it is good time to get it checked.
Oke thankyou . I will take it to the svc and ask them for a chekup on both issues .

And if u happen to have metallic slider lock in place then the tak tak would be more in slow speed while going on broken patches.

Importantly the frequent abnormal chain slapping depends on how is the condition of chain set , if it happens to get lose to frequently then it is time to change.
How many kms have you done on this chain set and how is the condition of sprockets, how many stiff points are there in the chain?

Now again for the front noise, how many kms?
The noise could be from cone bearing, it might be in need of re greasing or replacement. Another thing could be the lost rubber spacers in the number plate bracket or something lose on the headlamp.

And guys do not get the chain fully tightened as there should always be some amount of slack otherwise it would snap.
