Mate, I completely understand your worry/frustration. I think your issue was not diagonized properly and that has resulted in SVC not fixing the issue. I sincerely hope it's just a faulty sealant and should be fixed if diagnosed properly. What's your ODO reading and are you done with your 1st service?

Yes, I concur that one of the main reasons we choose Yammy is for its reliability and peace of mind but there are times when even such products let us down.

    Cheers!

This is just a bad seal. You can ask any mechanic to put some automobile adhesive over the seal. I did it in my P220 and it has never spit a drop of oil. If you want everything according to Yamaha specs, ask ASS to change the seal or use their own sealant.

I assume you havent change the oil grade from the stock one. If so then the problem is the seal. Get it replaced. Mostly it will be solved.

There is a quality issue in copper washer of every bolt of engine. Mostly oil leaks are from copper washer, get it replaced.

Then you can tell them to replace the seal. That should work.

                  Tyre Hugger and Mud Flap.

Will have a DIY done for front mud flap. I have some thing on my mind.

Rear wheel needs better protection, especially for rear suspension which is partly exposed.
