Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Now that's a perfect and a much needed upgrade for those that need them bite..Originally posted by SASWAT NAYAK View PostRecently installed a stainless steel braided hose of rs200(ABS) in my fz,the braking has improved a lot,no more sponginess and the feedback is simply amazing from the lever. Now only one finger is enough for full barking force. A must upgrade for fz25.
For me though, I kind of grew to like the slight sponginess in the brake, gives perfect feedback which gives me the sense to apply the required amount of pressure in hard braking situations without skids..
Btw, How much did the cables cost? And did you get it done a with your local mechanic?

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Feviquick is sufficient. It has been holding up very good and there have been rains in Hyderabad since 2 days. Definitely helps.Originally posted by vsbharani View PostWill the feviquick is sufficient?? Don't need to screw the mud flop?
I did not want to drill the screws.
Few more pics of simple DIY. Not a single rupee was spent as all items were already at home.
Used old Plastic box. Marked to the width of the front mud guard and cut it.
Marked the curvature using a plate and cut.
Spray painted it black and used feviquick to stick it to mud guard.

I think even the aftermarket products will look the same aesthetically. So this is great idea to those who wants a front mud guard.Originally posted by riazmomin View PostFeviquick is sufficient. It has been holding up very good and there have been rains in Hyderabad since 2 days. Definitely helps.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I had to ride almost 28 kms yesterday in slight drizzle with already wet roads. Very happy with the work it is doing. The cylinder area and exhaust outlet area is much cleaner.Originally posted by dineshaugustin View PostI think even the aftermarket products will look the same aesthetically. Before this DIY, I thought of getting a mud flap from local automotive store, but they were quite wide and spoil the look of the bike. Even cutting would not be easy. To fit it holes would required to be drilled.
I will be keeping it permanent and will do something similar for Rear.Last edited by riazmomin; 06-13-2017, 12:22 PM.2007 - Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.
