  • Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences

Has anybody bought the new fz25, here in haryana. The price quoted by the dealer at my hometown (Rewari) is around 1,22,000 which is 2.5k more than the ex-showroom price in new delhi. Also the registration charges are on the higher side i.e. 10320 quoted by the dealer itself. I feel that the dealer is not pricing it genuinely. It's gonna be my first new bike apart from my dad's hero honda splendor (1999 model), which i still ride. That's why posting it here to get some idea about the pricing and things to take care while buying new bike (documents wise as well). I hope all seniors here and the owners of this bike will through some light on all these things

p.s. - i'm really liking this new yammie got all the ticks right for me, mascular and well built, single tone colour (especially white), good reliable engine, both disk brakes and above all a yamaha

300km done. Video Review most possibly by Sunday. Getting average fuel economy of 37. Mix of heavy bangalore traffic. Beat that. 😂

I test rode the dominar before buying this , it felt pretty heavy and the handle and sitting position is pretty wide and forward for my comfort, on the fz it is perfect .

                  Throttle response is awesome
Good. clutch and gear shifting will bcm smooth after 1st service

i had a doubt at what RPM are u shifting from 3rd gear to 4rth gear. ?
i am doing at 3800 rpm, bcoz beyond that the bike gets noisier and sounds from instrument cluster creep in , making the bike sound harsher.

this bike is turning out to be a nightmare for reviewers. just saw ride with rahul review it just came out. its a very long review 24 mins. first 10 mins he is complaining how bike feels underpowered.

after that he compares it to duke 250 and he is praising fz for how powerful it feels. appafently first 10 mins were shot before powerdrift video was out. haha.

then to top it all up he gives a very confused verdict that although its 0-100 times are amazing, its fueling is not good and extra 5 bhps would've made it a complete package.

no idea what part of fueling he didnt liked. i myself found nothing to complain. response was as expected.

have seen lot of news out lets like auto car india fumble in giving a verdict about this bike. but not to this level. at least their article or video had same verdict and theme throughout.

I am shifting minimum 3000 and maximum 5000 rpm but no such noise from instrument cluster orpanels its absolutly silent apart from the loud bassy exhaust note infact it feels great to shift above 4500 rpm but avoid it as i am running it in

How is the quality of plastics around the tail light cluster?

I don't have any complaints as they don't bufffet. They are strong. But there should be small LED indicator instead of clear lens.
