Yeah, on highways the windblast is a problem above 100kmph. Which I didn't faces with my R15s. I could do a constant 110 kmph without any deviation. This one desparately needs a visor for cruising above 100. Power is fantastic though but the aerodynamics doesn't let you do more of speed. Still in break-in period. Haven't crossed 6500rpm. But this machine sounds awesome right from the idle.
How are the-
gear shifts?
Brakes?
Pillion seat comfort?

Gears are little hard to downshift, but slowly becoming smooth.
Brakes do not give you feel of instant bite, you wont feel instant grab of brake pads, but they are working and makes you stop where you want. As I said, its bybre like duke 390/200. Rear one is like R15 (nissin unit) and does its job. Pillion had a complain of height being much but comfortable.
There is problem of slight headlight assembly vibration on uneven roads. Its not serious but its not there on fz16. Need to check with service.

Well fair enough bro. I think Yamaha, even with corners cut, has a winner here.
wow mods working overtime cleaning this thread. ppl giving extreme reactions to my comments instead of level headed discussion like i expect on forum like xbhp.
anyways, coming to windblast problem i feel on any naked its not possible to do touring above 90 kmph for extended periods of time. i personally feel thats a positive cause you have ability to take short bursts of 120 or so without remaining constantly there making it much safer.
Bike gives mileage in excess of 40 kmpl in highway during run in period itself maintaining speed of 65-70kmph.so the manufacturer claim of 43 kmpl could be possible.
40kmpl in real world conditions is exceptional considering its cubic capacity and performance which is on par with other so called biggies...
Not at all exceptional to Duke 200 and CBR 250 owners buddy. Both the aforementioned bikes do get 40+ kmpl when ridden at 70-80 kmph.
Infact, I once got 49.8 kmpl on the CBR 250 in 2014, with overinflated tyres, and 90% highway riding at a speed not exceeding 75 kmph at 6th gear. Mileage calculated on tank to tank basis.

40Kmpl is just ok i would say because fz25 weighs lot less compared to other biggies.
And the perfomance is also because of the lower weight and the perfomance of fz25 stops at around 110kmph compared to other bikes like duke 200,250 ,200 ns,rs, CBR250
Ns and RS gives above 40 easily on highways with 4horses more.
We can only compare fz25 with other bikes till 110-115 kmph, just like fz15 fi looses steam post 90 but gives realy good f.e.
