  • Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences

After riding 1000 km i just want to write about some features which i didn't like about FZ25. About the pros..all you have wriiten..
    I didn't like
the absence of side stand indicator.
Auto off of the side indicator after taking the turn..it was a features even in my pulsar 150.
The seat is quite stiff..being on a heavier side my butt seems to hurt after riding 45 mins to an hour. Please inform if any aftermarket plush seat is available.
    The headlight assembly is terrible.
    The horn is not good.
My bike is due for its first service this weekend.. hoping for adjustment in horn, HL assembly....

Sir ji...I know, no matter how many bikes you shortlist but you will ultimately take RE at the end. [emoji1] [emoji14]

                          1. Bike was washed thoroughly.
                          2. Starter motor oil seal changed along with a copper color washer which was also damaged.
                          3. Tappet has been adjusted, now engine is smoother than before.
                          4. Headlight beam has been adjusted.

Service center manager was telling that Yamaha is very serious with fz25, two people from yamaha came to service center and took my feedback. They will enquire with dealer as well as R&D why this happened and promised me to share their report.

Overall SC were trying to give me VIP treatment.
Beautiful. This being a mass market commuter, Yamaha can't expect to make mistakes, unlike their bigger counterparts which have a niche segment to cater, no wonder you've been given the VIP treatment. But, what's about any Japanese counterpart is their attentiveness to proactively engage in active recalls, which incites good consumer sentiment. I hope petty issues are taken care of proactively by Yamaha India.

Brake system like calipers, hoses, rotors and master cylinder are all included in warranty.

                          Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                          THE END

Is it possible that Yamaha Motors India just recall all the FZ25 and does something for the headlight assembly! My wild fantasy! Haha.

I think they will not do it because technically there is no defect in HL assembly and they are not violating any law.

Max they can do is they will bring an upgrade in upcoming lot and consumer like us have to spend to get correct HL throw.

I could not test my adjusted HL beam today due to bad thunderstorm today in my city. Tomorrow I will update as I told mechanic to adjust beam to its max limit.
