Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
This is bad thing to do, running the bike for a long distance without turning on the engine. I guess it should be there in owners manual...Originally posted by Rajathrajk View PostGuys this is not the mistake of sensors.
Let me explain you .
I took my bike for hill while returning back I just turned on the ignition (I didn't start) it was slope and it spinned at least 10 kilometers like that.
Then my average fuel efficiency was 45kmpl.
So this is not the mistake of the sensor
According to me sensor are 90% accurate

That is perhaps the biggest number clocked on the odo of an fz 25 on this forum I think. What about the comfort on bad roads? Do Ride Safe. Share more info as you clock more miles. Happy riding ☺Originally posted by Anunay View PostJust finish with 1350kms of Bangalore -idukki - munnar - Bangalore ride.
Loving every bit of this machine. Odo reads 3400 kms now.
Fuel efficiency was 37kmpl
Average speed 75 kmph
Loved the twisties of idduki. One of the best in India to test your bikes and your leaning angles. And the bike performed with ease on wet and on dry termac it was no less than 390 duke. I could literally knee down with a pillon. And there was enough confidence inspiring torque to let me jumb into next curve.
400 kms of return ride was done at night and there was little complaint of headlight. I could cruise at 80-85 kmph ( I have adjusted the beam throw as per my and pillion weight on bike). My headlight vibration has reduced considerably somehow. But don't know how.
But ohh god! Only if I have a windscreen for my bike. I couldn't find anywhere in Bangalore.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I may sound like a fanboy but this bike is flawless for me ( exclude headlamp illumination thing, which is still okay for me). I was able to do 110-115 kmph on highways with saddle bags and carry a pillon who feels that the pillon comfort and the shock absorbers are better than classic 350. Coming from R15 I can now glide over off roads with ease and don't feel much.Originally posted by AJAY SREEKUMAR K View PostThat is perhaps the biggest number clocked on the odo of an fz 25 on this forum I think. I am going to drop a mail to Yamaha regarding optinal Auxiliary light set up.

After reading the posts yesterday night, I got up and decided to check my bike. I have oil near the starter motor as wellOriginally posted by ankit.traveller View Post
Sad news for me[emoji20] ...today spotted engine oil leak near starter motor.
Any plausible reason for this?

Just want to know how a vehicle can be delivered without full payment? I have generally seen them delivering vehicle only after full payment.Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostHope leak is not from cylinder gasket...then have to remove whole cylinder to fix new gasket. In that case i will return the bike. By luck i have given only 50% payment.
And worried to see the engine oil leak problem. Hope its not a major issue.
