      Let me explain you .

I took my bike for hill while returning back I just turned on the ignition (I didn't start) it was slope and it spinned at least 10 kilometers like that.

Then my average fuel efficiency was 45kmpl.

So this is not the mistake of the sensor
According to me sensor are 90% accurate
This is bad thing to do, running the bike for a long distance without turning on the engine. I guess it should be there in owners manual...

Loving every bit of this machine. Odo reads 3400 kms now.
          Fuel efficiency was 37kmpl
          Average speed 75 kmph

Loved the twisties of idduki. One of the best in India to test your bikes and your leaning angles. And the bike performed with ease on wet and on dry termac it was no less than 390 duke. I could literally knee down with a pillon. And there was enough confidence inspiring torque to let me jumb into next curve.

400 kms of return ride was done at night and there was little complaint of headlight. I could cruise at 80-85 kmph ( I have adjusted the beam throw as per my and pillion weight on bike). My headlight vibration has reduced considerably somehow. But don't know how.
But ohh god! Only if I have a windscreen for my bike. I couldn't find anywhere in Bangalore.
That is perhaps the biggest number clocked on the odo of an fz 25 on this forum I think. What about the comfort on bad roads? Do Ride Safe. Share more info as you clock more miles. Happy riding ☺

I may sound like a fanboy but this bike is flawless for me ( exclude headlamp illumination thing, which is still okay for me). I was able to do 110-115 kmph on highways with saddle bags and carry a pillon who feels that the pillon comfort and the shock absorbers are better than classic 350. Coming from R15 I can now glide over off roads with ease and don't feel much.
I am going to drop a mail to Yamaha regarding optinal Auxiliary light set up.

            Regards

After reading the posts yesterday night, I got up and decided to check my bike. I have oil near the starter motor as well
              Any plausible reason for this?

Anyone from Bangalore got tappet adjustment done? If so when and where and is the issue resolved completely?

need not be...once while i was riding my duke 200 to pondy from Chennai (run in period) i got a whopping 56kmpl (steady 60-70 kmph)

Just want to know how a vehicle can be delivered without full payment? I have generally seen them delivering vehicle only after full payment.
And worried to see the engine oil leak problem. Hope its not a major issue.

Good photos. Enough to provoke the touring bug on weekend.

Right now at SC, they have concluded oil leak is from starter motor oil seal/o ring but they don't have in stock. Tappet adjustment is due. Will update soon.
