Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Since few of us reported oil leak from same area, will have to keep an eye in future also since engine is new and oil is on high pressure and engine heat is also more (due to 250cc air cooled + summer), its good that it leaked initially itself and we know now the weak point as its common point of leakage.Originally posted by tankrunner10 View PostGood to know it is nothing major but it is a bit disheartening to see an oil leak on a new bike.
I would suggest during run in period we must give engine little time to cooldown after usage in traffic or continous run. (Which i didn't do) Due to excessive heat of new engine plus summers these metal washers may deform very minutely and start leaks.
I m sure after run in period this issue will settle down.

Lets hope that the leaks dont keep reoccurring. Dealt with enough oil leaks on my pulsar now it has followed me to this bike too.🙁Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostSince few of us reported oil leak from same area, will have to keep an eye in future also since engine is new and oil is on high pressure and engine heat is also more (due to 250cc air cooled + summer), its good that it leaked initially itself and we know now the weak point as its common point of leakage.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Till 110 kmph wind blast is manageable in any bike which is best cruising speed in this bike. Aerodynamics come into play only after 100kmph. Use aerodynamic shape helmet and avoid motocross type.Originally posted by Harrisoncool View PostGuys... How are you all managing wind blast and head light shaking issues? Can we expect Yamaha to fix this in upcoming batch ?
As HL assembly is rubber mounted, it will be difficult to stop shaking. Have to do some indian jugad.

Dont worry bro, even I faced oil leaks (dripping on ground) in my new karizma. Leaks will settle down after run in.Originally posted by tankrunner10 View PostLets hope that the leaks dont keep reoccurring. Dealt with enough oil leaks on my pulsar now it has followed me to this bike too.🙁

What I felt was headlight is good. While riding headlight unit shakes and this is the reason we can't see road correct.
I observed that when I stop my vehicle I can see clearly but while riding the headlight unit vibrates and we can't see clearly

I kind of disagree with you, all the bikes I have riden before light almost travels parallel to the road so that we can at least identify things coming up little far also.Originally posted by Rajathrajk View PostWhat I felt was headlight is good. Simple example, if there is a sign board on the road light should fall on it and reflect in this it would never fall on the sign board insted it's focused on low on the road, after 6-8 feet you can't see anything, not even a hump.
Will try to make a video of this.Last edited by gagsey; 05-06-2017, 01:04 PM.Enzoi the RidE....
