Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I did first servicing.Originally posted by xdocx View PostAfter doing HL adjustment.. its now perfect
I asked guys to fix HL, Now its better. I don't find any difficulty riding on almost completely dark road.
Default settings sucks no use. Get it fixed. ( it's just setting issue not bike issue guys)
One thing I want to share,
After servicing my rare disc breaks were not working at all (zero breaks), I almost had an accident. I decided to visit SC next day. but on second day it was working better than first day.
I decided not to go to SC. On third day it became as good as it was before servicing.
I don't know how does it happen, Any guesses.
Take care of this situation after servicing.

When they wash the bike and put Polish, they would have sprayed on disk so it will be slippery...Originally posted by Atul Chirame View PostI did first servicing.

True. It makes brakes feel soft and feedback from brake is highly reduced.Originally posted by gagsey View PostWhen they wash the bike and put Polish, they would have sprayed on disk so it will be slippery...

I don't know why, i used have this in my FZS as well. Right after service feedback from front disc will be absolutely zero, but gets better after 10 or 15 kms. I think it's the way they clean the disc or something. Wanted to check with SVC, but every time i forget to do so.Originally posted by Atul Chirame View PostI did first servicing.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
The SVC ppl use diesel as a degreaser. The mix it with soap water and apply it all over the bike. The should be just applying diesel to engine and other areas where the dirt is sticky. Sadly they put it on the disc also. I was really frustrated after 1st service. It is fine nowOriginally posted by Harrisoncool View PostI don't know why, i used have this in my FZS as well. I am used to it now, after couple of near misses learnt a hard lesson, not to push the bike for first few KM's right after the service.Originally posted by manish197 View PostThe SVC ppl use diesel as a degreaser. Flash rate increased. No relay changeOriginally posted by AmitJ21 View Postis the flash rate normal? have you changed the relay or is it not necessary?
Ask them to avoid using diesel in discOriginally posted by Harrisoncool View PostI don't know why, i used have this in my FZS as well. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Yes, set it high or to your preference, stock setting was way too low. Maybe there is more than required gap between reflectors when it is at it's lowest position and hence more space to move around and it's evident on uneven surface? It's just my theory, but vibrations won't go away 100% but they are definitely better.Originally posted by Harrisoncool View PostDo you set it high? Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
In Fz 25 the speedometer takes the readings through the rear sprocket and not the front wheel.Originally posted by Kirankarunan View PostI have a question. Does anyone know how the speedometer is taking a reading? I don't see a wire running to either wheel. On the FZ 16 there is a wire running to the front wheel.

Thanks for the answer. I just rechecked. You have any idea where the sensor is mounted ? Can't find anything.Originally posted by AmitJ21 View PostIn Fz 25 the speedometer takes the readings through the rear sprocket and not the front wheel.
