Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
It sounds strange but it's true to a large extent, since my low beam was too low I raised it myself (someone already posted the adjustment screw just turn it anti-clockwise, I turned ~20 cycles) and vibration seems to come down to great extent, weird relationship but works.Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostAfter adjustment my HL stop shaking.

Service guys said, they checked everything, forks, cone, alignment etc.etc. everything is fine and they also tested no wobble at 70 kmph, voila when I tested wobble remains, cursed service guys real bad and decided to take things to myself, started with wheel balancing since that's the easiest, ~80gms weight added on either sides (it is normal for any new wheel to be not perfectly balanced due to die-cast process as per balancing guy) and guess what no wobble at any speed now, mild vibrations noticed >90kmph but no wobbleOriginally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostWobble can be caused by many factors. It can be caused by an unevenly worn tire, worn wheel bearings, loose/tight coneset, improper tire pressure and worse failed coneset bearings. The bike being new, I would recommend you to check your tire pressure first, and check the coneset bearings if they are tight or loose. Do mention this at your next service in the job card and the attending mechanic, if you can so that they adjust the nut accordingly. Keep us posted.
Cheers!

Word of advice for Bangalore FZ-25 owners -
Never ever visit Laxmi International (arekere), their technicians have zero knowledge on FZ-25 and they do all kind of trial and error, instead of resolving the problem mentioned they do R&D and create new problem. Even their so called service manager has 0 knowledge on this bike.Last edited by skyliner34; 05-07-2017, 08:44 PM.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Engeine has become much smoother..the tic toc sound that had there around 4k rpm has disappeared..trying hard to prevent myself to go beyond 5k rpm until 1000 km..service centre guys told that after 600 km 6k rpm can be done..i didn't try thoughOriginally posted by ankit.traveller View PostHow is engine response after 1st service?

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
That's good. You can take it to 6k rpm just for a moment and slow down and repeat. I have started doing this at 510 kms. Key of break in is give engine some load but for limited period of time along with rest (slow down or cool down after some use). Just dont ride continous for long time in any rpm.Originally posted by xdocx View PostEngeine has become much smoother..the tic toc sound that had there around 4k rpm has disappeared..trying hard to prevent myself to go beyond 5k rpm until 1000 km..service centre guys told that after 600 km 6k rpm can be done..i didn't try though

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Did the oil leak re occur? How many kilometres have been clocked since the repair now? I am confused whether to wait for yamaha to make an official statement regarding this or go ahead and buy the bike now. Headlight also bothers me.Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostIf you are referring to me then its 3rd day and 85 more kms since repair and thank god no leaks now.
After tappet adjustnent kit kit sound almost reduced but there is little rattling/whistling sound at 4000rpm from head. Will report this in first service. Till now odo is 545 kms.
