Not that straight forward, need to find matching HUB to the disk also or modify the mounting points of disk. FZ25 has odd size of disk i.e. 282 MM at front and 220 at rear.

Unless someone does it and post it here, we'll no know how difficult it can be or not. Though you're right about the odd sizes.

Sir ji buy the fz25 and do not worry rims would not break. Owners are taking ktm390 to impossible place without any rim issues.
U can always change to spoke rims.

Mandar_C500 ....to overcome "fear" of alloy damage as per your habit you can get the tube installed in wheel. So even if the rim get bent you can move on. Though I have seen number of d390 survived terrain of ladakh without any rim damage. D390 wheel is most prone to crack/damage.

Regarding Fz25 wheel, company specs during launch saying that this is a light weight wheel to reduce overall weight. Have to wait and watch for review on fz25 wheel sturdiness during off roading.

Just a thought. Does it make sense to buy a perfectly good motorcycle and then change the rims, tyres, and possibly even the braking module as the current one might not be compatible with spoked rims? Surely the riding dynamics would change and getting the right tyre profiles for the spoked rims could be a big hassle. Not to mention the significant costs involved.

Why not just buy a Himalayan or wait for the ADV variants of the BMW G310 /KTM 390 etc to be launched.

Then you should change your bad habit.
FYI alloys dont break easily, its tested under max. Payload. And you can change tyre which you have to if you going to do offroading go for big side walls tyre.

If mileage is ur priority then u should chose 100-150 cc bikes.
At present I have RTR 180 , and fuel consumption figure is quite good, it giving 50km per litre. Rear tire of Fz25 is wider then RTR it will effect mileage.

Front is possible i think, you have to replace from the fork stem to spoked rim and tyre with Continental GT, both have 41mm forks.

Sorry if this is a stupid idea! 😬

assuming you ride with conservative throttle cause thats high for 180. with similar throttle hand fz will give 40 kmpl, suppose.

difference in fuel cost if you ride 1000 kms a month will be Rs 350 per month. if you can afford a bike that costs close to 1.5 lacs, pretty sure Rs 350 a month will be negligible for you.

Recently I purchased a Dominor 400 no. HR 26 DR 7797 but this mini super bike is not good for market and daily use so I am thinking of FZ25 . I have never purchased any Yamaha bike so I have many doubts about engine quality, riders comfort, I use for comfort so bikes which needs bending are not good such as Yamaha R15 , Honda 250 bike . Some people may maintain four wifes I may try to have a good bike .

You would not get that kind of fuel economy in city conditions. Provided you have moderate traffic, you can expect a fuel economy of 37 to 38 max in city.

FZ25 is very nimble in city traffic. I ride in Bangalore and I find it very comfortable. Dominor is heavier and I do hear this complain about it being heavy and difficult in city traffic. Yamaha engines and parts are very reliable and better than Bajaj. Service costs should not be high either.

you just bought dominar so how are you gonna buy fz?

a bit too soon to start looking for new bike.

fz i tested in heavy traffic. its as nimble as any bike i have ridden. not far off from duke 200.

yamaha quality is very good. arguably best out there especially r15. that i own for last 6 yrs.
