Just help me in this if I chose either of them? In which in feel more at home?

To be honest, only you can answer this question. But it is better to take TD both the bikes and decide which one feels good.
Just sitting on the bike is not the same as riding.
Personally i would choose FZ for the extra 50cc which will definitely help in cruising for the relaxed ride. But if ABS is important then you can wait for the Apache, though the availability is not confirmed yet.

    • Hi,

      Congratulations to all.

I am currently owning a RE TB350 looking forward to buy a new hassle free bike. I have shortlisted Apache Rtr 200, yamaha fz25, bajaj Dominar.

Now, I am 6'2" tall and willmostly have a pillion. I am going to use it mostly for office and in city commute and only once a month long highway rides.

Now, I am coming from Royal Enfield, which didn't go well with me. I want something reliable and trustworthy.

      Please suggest.

If there are any other good options in your view, then please share. I won't be spending much. Upto ₹1.5 lakhs.

I am currently in Gurgaon and wanting to sell my Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350. Its Pune registered.

        Fz25 bcoz-
-Loads of low end torque for easy stop & go traffic city rides and load carrying capacity.
        -Light weight for easier handling
-Simple engine for good reliability and easy maintainance
        - upright riding posture for comfort
        - good fuel tank range for touring
        - less maintainance cost and headache for long term due to simplicity and yamaha brand
        - off course most fuel efficient in segment. Expect around 40kmpl with easy throttle.

        Though I never owned yamaha.

all 3 bikes are good. hard to choose if you are not a fanboy really

while fz is good, dominar is solid as well.

i personally prefer fz cause its lightweight and easier to handle. being a r15 rider that is important for me.

you being re rider i dont think dominar weigh twill be a problem. having ridden it multiple times i can say it has noticeably more powerful than fz. for riding in India i say fz pretty powerful too. dominar is little more.

only thing i feel is pillion seat is a bit smaller on dominar than fz so may not be as comfy.

              rest is upto you.

You can't compare fz25 with Dominar

Comparing fz25 with 200NS is perfect.

Just because fz25 does 0-100 under 9sec doesn't mean you can compare,
Dominar is a 373cc 35bhp and 35nm torque mill, the real differcence come when you have a pillion, there wont be a lag at all on Dominar400, and Dominar pulls too much stronger than FZ25 beyond 100kmph, no pausing till 150kmph (speedo).
And dominar comes with abs and slipper clutch too.

FZ25 is a great option for guys who are coming from RE350s.

Since you where riding a 180kg thing, no need to bother about the Dominar's weight.

                Best of luck mate.
                Cheers.

Please test ride all three before arriving at a decision. Although, if you can afford the Dominar, the other two don't really make sense as they are in a different segment altogether.

I have taken dominar as well as fz25 for a test ride.

Dominar is powerful but feels heavy with pillion in stop go traffic. The reason I didn't consider Mojo. Dominar is good VFM but service centres are pathetic.

Yamaha launched fz25 with a view that it will require lesser maintenance whilst letting one enjoy riding.

Dominar vibrates alot and after riding dominar I felt my TB350 to be lighter at handlebar.

                      cool.

fz doesnt feel as down on power as spec sheet suggest. just a little. city riding is also quiet a bit better.

are you based in Gurgaon? i feel fz and dominar both are tailor made for working professional who would like to take bike on a monthly long ride. ppl like me.

both bikes dont skimp too much on sports riding either. both are decent handlers and lot of fun

Yes Vaibhav, I am based in Gurgaon.

Dominar has got that raw feel. And fz25 felt more poised. FZ25 though doesn't get abs but then brakes don't feel like they are gonna lock up so easily.

                          What was this?? 🙄

FZ25 can be started with old FZ-S key and vice versa??

I think both are the new FZ25 keys
Where he is using same key in FZ16, where FZ16 is old and beaten up several times.

It will accept any key not just from 'yamaha' 😅
