Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Have been riding the bike since 2 days , first day the gears were very hard so I went to the service center and they adjusted the clutch now gears are smooth and finding neutral is easy, the head light is adequate for city but I feel for highway touring one will need extra auxillary lamps, I feel that you don't get many posts in this thread not because of excitement not being there but the bike is built so well that there are not any faults to complain or write about, it rides well, comfortable for Rider and pillion , only short people will find difficult mounting on back seat, even in traffic the heat is not felt on legs that is a very good plus point bearing in mind that this is an air cooled unit , I feel the maintenance also should be less compared to dominar and ktms as there is no fan and radiator,
I test rode the dominar before buying this , it felt pretty heavy and the handle and sitting position is pretty wide and forward for my comfort, on the fz it is perfect .
Cheers

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hey people new 2017 edition of fz-s series bikes are out... Do check em out
We now don't get that ugly looking ful tyre hugger...
What we nor get it long mudguards like the older fz's and also new decals and colors to choose from
The bike remains mechanically unchanged... Same brakes, same engines everything except AHO

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
My friend bought FZ-25 from a dealership in Bangalore. He had booked the bike about a month back. The Delivery was yesterday and we were shocked to know that RTO has not yet approved the bike in Karnataka (or perhaps Bangalore). He was given a Temp registration (which was chargeable) and was told that Permanent Registration would have to wait till RTO approves the bike. Now the problem is Karnataka CM decided to mint some money out of the high-end bikes in the recent budget (Bike with ex-showroom price above 1L) starting April 1. The Road tax will be increased by 50% from 12 to 18 %. So if the registration is done after April 1, he would have to pay an additional 7-8k bringing the On-road price to 1.5L ! Anybody else here in Bangalore or Karnataka has done a permanent registration of FZ-25 successfully ?
Here is a pic of the white beauty !

Bloody Government...!!! ..They have first of all increased the tax and not registering the bike now.Originally posted by shrijith1 View PostMy friend bought FZ-25 from a dealership in Bangalore. All our hard earned money is going to them in vain. Why do we have to pay 25k for road tax for a bike worth 1 lac..
Here in Mangalore the same issue, Ill be getting my bike tomorrow with temporary registration and dealer said the permanent registration would start only in April. Feeling so cheated?
Is there anything we all can do about this? We have got only 1 week left now or we will have to shell 8k more.Last edited by NikhilBharadwaj; 03-23-2017, 03:17 PM.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Just called the dealer, He said that I should receive my registration number coming Monday. Hopefully he stays with his word. As of now he is pretty good as he has made the delivery and every other things on time.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Congrats on the new ride bro. Wish you many a miles on this Yamaha as well. I'll be waiting for an honest comparison of R15S and FZ25 on highways from an owner's POV, I think that'd take time.Originally posted by Anunay View Post....

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Yeah, on highways the windblast is a problem above 100kmph. Which I didn't faces with my R15s. I could do a constant 110 kmph without any deviation. This one desparately needs a visor for cruising above 100. Power is fantastic though but the aerodynamics doesn't let you do more of speed. Still in break-in period. Haven't crossed 6500rpm. But this machine sounds awesome right from the idle.Originally posted by PrinceCruise View PostCongrats on the new ride bro. Wish you many a miles on this Yamaha as well.
